Perhaps it is trusting. I didnt see the positives in not disclosing injury information like before and I'm just glad that the club has addressed this by becoming a lot more transparent. I dont think they're lying if they give an initial predicted return date, but due to set backs / delays the date changes. Injuries are dynamic and not the same for everyone, it can't be easy to predict exactly

The injury situation is poor I agree, not least for our position in the league but also for the club's MO, the players wont develop and increase in value by being sat on the medical table. Whether its normal, I've counted 6/7 other Championship clubs with the same amount or more injuries. So definitely below average but still other clubs are being struck with the same endemic

Millwall sign Barry Bannan 18 month contract

We need cover in this position but let's be honest, Bannan isn't joining anyone to be cover. I'm taking Madsen all day currently

Yep, just so people know, this was started by a random EFL fan account on X with an AI image of Sterling in a QPR kit with the quote "he wants to stay in London". Sooo that'll be Fulham or riding out his 325k a week deal with Chelsea B for the next 18 months..

Well I'll put my hands up as I've criticised WLS in the recent past however when it comes to updates such as transfers or injuries I'm fairly certain they complete their due diligence and are 100% trustworthy when it comes to this. I don't think they'll be played around switching from he's available, to potentially not available in 24 hours as some sort of master ploy, I'm sure he has had a knock in that time (not that unbelievable) and we'll see on Friday

I know you've mentioned the Chair injuries and that timeline, however I'm sure he was in a bunch of training videos and content around that time of the original return date, I think he's just redone or suffered a new injury after that. Rotten rotten luck as we've needed him and his creativity in recent weeks

How could you explain that WLS posted just yesterday that Obikwu was in line to make his debut on Saturday? I'm sorry I just feel like a lot of this is a massive stretch and overread

Well if we don't get Pulisic by the end of the window now I'll be extremely disappointed..

Why? It was only a few weeks ago he was getting MOTM awards for completely shutting down some the of leagues premier wingers in Mavididi and Demarai Gray, just as an example. A stupid moment doesn't erase any of these games for me

In response to Loftus also, you can only make 3 stoppages for substitutions, only exclusions would be half time and concussion sub that wouldnt count towards the sub windows.

If you used all 3 and had a player get a leg injury for example, you're down to 10 men

We planned around this in the Wednesday game for example as we had to make an early sub for Burrell which meant we were at 1/3 windows used. We then made a double sub at half time which meant we still had 2 windows for the 2nd half. Yesterday's game I don't think they were planned as well at all

Mentioned this in the other thread, but we used up all of our windows so couldn't make any subs at that point. You get 3 windows which we used at 64, 74, 82.

Comment above James, we'd used up our subs after 82nd minute

Wrexham submitting a £19m bid for striker Sidiki Cherif, 4 goals in 18 games in Ligue 1. For any fans worried about our finances, getting that done whilst still only having 3 stands... what a fairytale

Being realistic and reasonable is a lost art, great post Nix. I recall most fans asking for a year of stability, for once not being involved in the gauntlet that is the bottom of the Championship and here we are, 12th, still 3 points off playoffs.

As another poster said, I was also very surprised at the vitriol of some of the support last night, some just lambasting the entire squad of being c*nts. I didn't see any lack of trying in this game, a lack of quality sure, but it's such a young team and I don't see how any of this reaction helps.

Reasons to try remain optimistic, that's 3 clean sheets in a row in the league now, Walsh looks reformed and Dunne / Cook have been class. That's a really solid foundation and I don't think it's possible without players giving it their all. Leicester haven't had a clean sheet in 22 games for comparison. The attack whilst disjointed, we have to remember was missing Saito, Poku, Chair, Burrell and now Obikwu. That's an entire Championship attack and a bench option. We have to ride out these next few weeks and give the likes of Bennie our full support, he should be on a League 1 loan and it isn't his fault he is now being called upon. Onto the next, and finally some home games.

That's the nature of the game these days isn't it, try and find a 10m sale and that can fund 20 of these types. There's inevitably going to be misses as all clubs will never have 100% success with transfers, but especially with our budget it's all about finding these low risk, high potential players.

With Obikwu seems like he already has a great physical profile, encouraging personality as you say, does seem to be things the club are looking at more now. I just hope fans can be patient as I'd imagine he may be technically quite raw and will need the experience / coaching. The unknown is quite exciting, looking forward to seeing what he can do

Neither did I, it's just a message to those writing a player off without giving them a chance. Much prefer us giving a platform to young hungry players compared to the mercenary has beens of the past

Really interesting physical profile from what I can see in the clips, tall and quick. I think we're hoping for a Burrell mk2 with this one, hopefully Cov have made a big mistake

"or just really rates Kolli"

or maybe doesn't want to see one of the clubs players profiled by their appearance and ethnicity? One of the brightest prospects out of our academy, one of our own, deserves better. I don't get your comment
