I was relatively late getting into cricket and have been blown away by the quality of the commentary on TMS. It's got such a jovial and relaxed feel to it, while being incredibly detailed and informative. I loved TMS over the last T20 World Cup in India and Sri Lanka, hearing about all the various pundits experiences across the region - really god a feel for what it was like.
Agree the issues is Key and McCullum, absolutely. The whole thing stinks of a lack of accountability - Harry Brook needs a clip round the ear and to be told to bat properly when he gives his wicket away, not just having a laugh about it.
Jamie Smith can bat properly, he was excellent against India last summer and was very good for Surrey this season in the Championship. Needs proper coaching to do it properly and more often, cutting out his brainless chips to mid-wicket.

Yesterday was a real disgrace. Petulant childish bullsht, throwing away a test match for what? To stick two fingers up at the ECB? Stokes opening the batting and having a swing in his last innings, I maybe understand. Why they then felt the need to shuffle the rest of the order instead of just getting on with a proper 4th innings chase against a very depleted bowling attack, I can't understand.
The best of Stokes with the bat, isn't just when he's swinging it but the discipline, focus. and shot selection shown to really make a score against the odds. That's not at all what we saw yesterday and it all just feels like self-indulgent nonsense.

I'd be gutted to lose Stokes in this manner, one of our great all-rounders and an excellent captain. For him to resign and potentially retire would be a great loss - glad he seems to have been talked off the ledge.
The Ollie Robinson point is interesting - I think you can look at it two ways, either that they're waivering on their plans after a poor result, or they're learning from their mistakes and being a bit more pragmatic. The bowling attack is definitely lacking, after seeing Carse get pumped all over Australia, so no issue with them trying something new.
I think that Stokes deserves one last crack at the Ozzies next year, after which he and Baz surely move on. If we throw it all out now, we're looking to Bethell or Brook to lead the team and a new coach to come in, with barely a year to stamp their mark over the team. If we wanted to make the change, we do it in Feb/March. Not in June midway through the summer.
Rehan Ahmed, but it leaves us without a front line spinner. Would take Jof, Robinson, Atkinson, Tongue as the attack.
Would rather see him keep his job though - even though he's been poor with the bat, he was our best bowler through the Ashes and nobody else is anywhere near him in terms of captaincy. Doesn't help that his vice captain's diet consists mainly of crayons.
