I don't think the pitch has been that bad tbh

Most of our wickets were reckless shots bar 3 and the Aussies just didn't know how to score

Although we are bowling pretty well it looks a fraction short and missing the edge

Really looking forward to the series and will be getting up to watch

I think we have a great chance and with Carse at 8 and Atkinson at 9 we have a long battling lineup which is the opposite of the Aussies who have Stac at 8 .

I can't see the first two tests lasting 5 days so the batters need to carry on the attacking mentality as quick fire 40/50's on low scoring bowler friendly pitches could make the difference.

With the way we are playing they should be lucky to get 500 but I would imagine it will be at least 1500+

What are everyone's expectations now that we a quarter a way through the season ?

For me personally, I think we very much underperforming, players from last season regressing with Dunne & Varane being the biggest culprits.

We finally have a bit of pace in the squad and also a couple of decent strikers but we just never seem to improve and now look the most unfit squad in the league . This is a very poor Championship ( look at the top 10 ) yet other clubs with similar budgets are out performing us again .

We should easily be top 10 this with an outside chance of pushing for the play offs but at the moment we seem way off .

No a point today isn't the end of the world but christ as a fan base we should be expecting better

I'm sure I'm not the only one who is sick to death of this boom or bust cycles that we go on .

I suppose it's about standards and expeditions

With this squad and how crap the championship is we should be a lot higher

Look at the current top 6 awful teams yet here we patting ourselves on the back for a nil nil draw against a terrible Sheffield United team

Nothing will change unless we get standards
