What is encouraging is the diamonds in the rough Brighton signed were all within Swansea's upper level budget. A ยฃ5m option would be a huge punt but with Jamestown backing it woud be a solid calculated risk.

Lloyd Jones was born in Plymouth o a Welsh father. He was in the welsh youth system while a teenager in Liverpool and is one of the surprisingly few Welsh eligible players who turned his back on the Dragons. Jonathan Bond a goalkeeper was another. He had a long career in the lower leagues and the USA. There is a lot of Polish eligible players in the welsh youth system. 4 or 5 in both Swnsea and Cardiff.

Fulton was never a Swansea player . In his last run out v Hull city he was a one man wrecking ball. Vinnie Jones came to mind. He would never have played under Roberto Brendan or Laudrup. Swansea by offering Darling good money has forced Championship rival to pay more of the budget on him. If the recruitment is top notch then he can be replaced by someone younger better and cheaper, Contract signing deadline belonged in May 2024 . The club cannot be too nice to allow this. Asoro was treated brutally but still gave Swnsea a good word to the new Swedish winger.
