Having praised Scarlett to the heavens at the fans forum (By implication Kolli - Bad, Scarlet * Good) he doubled down and starts him ahead of stronger players; also benches JCS who was Rock Solid at WBA dropping Ronnie back into defence. Some of this undoubtedly complacency about Preston’s league position.
The opening goal was a freak; a frantic clearance, a mistake and a fine finish
Compounded by a questionable red card and a poorly defendant second Preston goal, it took us the rest of the half to get back in the game
But get back in the game we did and the second half performance speaks to the obvious collective team spirit in place at Loftus Road – and Julian must be complimented for that
We are not quite there yet, but at this ridiculously extended international break we sit comfortably in the playoffs. I’m beating away from home. Now the physios have a three week window to clear the congested treatment room.

Senior players chair and field seemed strangely muted.
Dembele and Poku looks lively as did Eske and Mbengue

Looked at dispassionately it was a lively game.
Trouble is we lost and that’s 3 poor games in a row.
All of which was made worse by sweet Caroline at half time.
Nobody asked for it. Nobody wants it. Nobody sings it.
It’s simply not a QPR song.

Another sell out, electric atmosphere. It's a strange thing about the human condition that we're so jubilant, focussed and invested in just avoiding failure.
As I write, Owls have trounced Blackburn at theirs.

Not much to add to the other reviewers except I thought for long periods we played way to deep; Marti frantically waving forward on the touchline.
Also don't get this All 11 Back for conceded corners; Armstrong left up with Chair on 35 yds would have kept 3 Norwich back, 4 with the keeper, corner- taker makes 5 so only 6 against nine defenders. |Better odds and more chance of retrieving possession |

Agree with OldPedro about the Game Of Two Halves; thought Larkeche looked the most progressive player in hoops.
I've afraid I've lost patience with Begovic now; for every smart save there's a ricket; didn't use judgement to vary the restarts - two strikers to aim at with the occasional long ball. He's supposed to set an example as a senior player instead he's conflicted with the The Other Business Interests and frankly - surely - must know better than to guest on a Chelsea podcast. You just don't do that if you want to inspire the youngsters and get fans on your side. Here for the pension, not for the future. Smithies anyone? |

I can rant away about the absurd refereeing decisions - on a weekend of collective Refereeing failure
But I'm deeply, deeply disappointed at the players' attitude after going down. Sinclair Armstrong apart
