Nah not me. Think I'm done with all that stuff. So much of it is for grandstanding and fulfilling obligations to the EFL.
True fan communication, consultation and representation does not exist. And I've been involved in it for a long time. |

The Supporters Advisory Board have been told by the club it won't be played tomorrow. That's the right decision in my view.
I don't think the club comes out of this very well. They have thrust these lads in to the cauldron of social media, and this is now the perhaps predictable result. |

I've made my view on the song itself pretty clear on socials since it emerged a few days ago. It's dreadful.
I do feel a little sorry for the lads who created it. I get the "dream come true" stuff of having their composition played etc etc.
What is most unpleasant about this is the imposition by the club. The club DJ was sent out to bat for it on socials yesterday. I find this really insidious. Has a whiff of the imposition of Tango and Cash's crap crest back in the day.
When I was on the Supporters Advisory Board, this wasn't the sort of thing the club would consult on. I can't say for certain the SAB weren't given pre-warning of this. My money is on "not". |

I wish them all well.
Not sure I'm entirely comfortable with the finely crafted PR campaign around player departures. Of course it's good that the club acknowledges and thanks servants. But this activity is turning into a bigger narrative-grabbing marketing campaign each and every summer. Why are these being dripfed out? To maximise the impact and clout...
All the earnest glad-handing and pearl-clutching rings hollow when to all intents and purposes you are bumming out players you don't want. |

I was in Italy recently for Bologna vs Napoli. The home team ran out 2-0 winners and celebrated like they had just won the World Cup - it was one hell of an experience.
Let Mbengue & co have some fun with the fans... Poor job if you can't celebrate after an ending like that!  |

The evidence at the moment is pointing to Nourry being just 26. Of course age should be no barrier to talent. But his first utterance in his interview was that he has been in football for 11 years.
Very interesting indeed if both things are true. |
