 | Forum Reply | Who should be our regular first team keeper ? at 15:31 2 Dec 2025
I don’t thin that there is too much between them. They both have strengths and weaknesses. If we are going to continue to play out from the back then Baz is the obvious choice. We have a bigger issue up front. If we had a Ricky Lambert no one would be too bothered about the goal keeper. |

Kevin Keegan when Liverpool beat us in the Charity Shield 1-0. Jimmy Greaves when he played for West Ham. He won a penalty against us and they equalised from the spot following a Tommy Jenkins wonder goal. |

I’d rather that they took there time and find the right person for the job. Changing the manager/head coach every few months is not good for the club. |
 | Forum Reply | Still was the problem at 12:57 6 Nov 2025
He did use Robinson. The performance last night was very similar to the others. The only difference being we only conceded 1 and managed to put two chances away. Still was part of a greater problem which any new manager will still (no pun intended) have to deal with. |

If we were still part of the EU sucking up to Trump wouldn’t be so important. However, we are now on our own and have to blow smoke up this bloke’s arse in order to make up for the business that we have lost since we got our country back. |
 | Forum Reply | The Trump visit - opinions at 11:50 18 Sep 2025
I agree that it is sickening but given how much we rely on the US financially and for security we have no choice but to suck up to him as long as he is in power. I saw an American today call Starmer the “Trump Whisperer.” No matter what you think of Starmer as PM so far, he has played a blinder with Trump so far. The sucking up has gone to another level with the second state visit, but if the country benefits from better deals with this idiot then it will have been worth it. |
 | Forum Reply | Little Britain Angela Raynor at 00:41 6 Sep 2025
I am not justifying what she did at all. It is quite possible that it was a genuine mistake, in which case she has paid a high price. If it wasn’t, she has still had to deal with the consequences. Personally I thought her position was untenable whatever her intentions. Given the stick she had given out to the corrupt Tories she was never going to be given an easy ride here. Live by the sword, die by the sword. The gammons will be relived that she has gone. She made mince meat of them. As a result of the changes we now have a “lefty” Muslim Home Secretary. How do you feel about that? 😂 |
 | Forum Reply | Little Britain Angela Raynor at 11:46 4 Sep 2025
Did the people calling out Raynor now call out the long list of Tory transgressors (including Johnson) over the last few years? I’m guessing not. Even is she has made a genuine mistake, her position now is untenable, but let’s not pretend that this is worse than the Zahawi situation, the multiple PPE scams and other countless Tory grifts. Apparently she had three different advisers telling her that she was paying the correct amount, but let’s not worry about the facts if we can give a “lefty” a good kicking eh? |
 | Forum Reply | Totally underwhelming window yet again. at 11:09 2 Sep 2025
It is going to take more than one transfer window to sort out the mess we have found ourselves in. I think they have made a pretty good fist of moving out a lot of the dead wood so far. The players they have brought in look to have the qualities we need. We have brought in a new striker. Ok, Downs might not be another Lambert but we haven’t seen much of him yet and, with hopefully better supply, he and the other strikers will get more chances and stick more away. The season starts now. Personally I am feeling more confident about than I was before. |

And you repeatedly ignore the fact that this is more than just some kind of noble act born out of protection of our young children. I look forward to the protests and riots outside churches in response to the many acts of sexual abuse towards children by Christians over countless decades. |

Because he is using this situation to stir up division and yes, racism is at the heart of it. Perhaps you can’t see it but it is pure tribalism. The whole flag thing. The focussing on the actions of a small number of asylum seekers. Farage knows that this all resonates with certain types of people, those who are prepared to take to the streets and stir up trouble. Maybe you have forgotten, but he was the one who stirred up the Stockport riots. Where are the disturbances and riots when white men sexually assault and rape women? Of course it has a racial element. If you can’t see it, perhaps you aren’t looking hard enough? You completely ignore the fact that women and girls are at more danger from people who are not seeking asylum. If you are serious about keeping white women and girls safe, open your eyes to the people who are committing domestic violence every day of the week. You do know that many of the brave young men who took to the streets to burn hotels were convicted of domestic violence previously? [Post edited 29 Aug 20:16]

Rumour has it that he travelled to West Ham without Saints permission. Interesting if true! |

Sad to see him go, especially to a club that could well struggle to stay up over the next few seasons. Still, if the money is invested in quality replacements hopefully it will work out well for both parties. |
