Another great performance by "super" Kev yesterday as well but still one mistake in him which fell to Ballard which we got away with. Thought Bragg did well as well keeping it simple, he seems to have improved sine JWP has been playing alongside him. |

I think any complaint was that when the initial shot was taken it looked like another BC player was off side right in front of Perets, and the ref and lino had a radio conversation about it, that's what it looked like to me and I guess they decided he was not interfering with play? |

I like Schlotterbeck but there is a mistake in him in every game, sound familiar for all our defenders and goalie, last night Downes fouled there player after a wayward pass, think he got away without a booking but it must of been close, after his displeasure on Saturday's performance I thought Downes had a great game and was my man of the match. |

As I said in another thread, his crunching tackle in the first couple of minutes set the tone, seemed to inspire Wood, Bree and Manning to find a pair? |

I think that Kev's crunching tackle in the first couple of minutes set the tone and his constant talking, Bree was back to last year, Wood found his strength after Tuesday, Manning throwing himself in with Downes, I also felt Bragg played well, kept it simple as did JWP in the 2nd half. Great performance from them all! |

I thought that was part of our issues so far this season, we seemed to have forgotten the drills on how to defend so Kev only has to learn to pass it forwards and to a red and white shirt. |

What we don't see and know is the influence he could possibly have behind the scenes, from all accounts THB had a big influence towards the end of last season and though some might not like it I would say JWP classes as a club ledgened given his previous service and hopefully given the team from Tuesday night a big kick up the backside, also like it or not we have to trust in Tonda and Spors, only my opinion. |

Can't believe Angus Gunn has not been mentioned, he was truly awful in his time with us and if I remember correctly he was bought in as our new number one, can't rember how long he lasted but it was not that long? |

After being told that nothing happens prior to 1st July/bonus day, nothing has really happened since, one in and other than a possible interest in a right back (even though we have 3) and a very vague possibility of Stewart coming back, absolutely nothing on th "in" front? Also, not a lot on the "outs"either, Shea had some interest which has evaporated but nothing on a number who have to leave, Rambo & Gavin, and no rumours on our stars, THB, Leo & Casper which hopefully is a good sign they might stay. When does the window shut (1st September?) because we don't want to be losing our Manager (thanks to the FA) and our better players after the season starts? |

From Adam Blackmore's interview with Dragon (well worth a listen) the "mistake" was that we had the option to extend for an extra year but this needed to be done within 5 days of our last game of the season. So with our Wembley game cancelled we exceeded the 5 days and his agent/lawyer said "no can do", we can only assume we were keeping our options open as to what league we would be in given the wage costs versus injury record and could he cut it in the Premier League? So to be fair I think the blame here is with the EFL rather than SR? |

One of the reasons last year was he wanted to be on the plane to the USA which he obviously isn't given his lack of game time, so he may have a big personal decision to make, do I want to actually play football and get paid less? |
