On flight back from the game. Great experience bar one idiot a couple of rows behind and proud of how Manly got back into that in spite of Sutton and the bunker (especially in the first half.) Shame about Turbos brainfart though for thst 12 point turnover.:4 one point defeats though tells it own story and with a little more forward depth we should be solid finals challengers next year. If this years Cowboys can make it anyone can. Id have a few concerns defensively for the Wahs, especially against the Dolphins and that backline. Newcastle and us have certainly exploited the edges over the last couple of weeks. Wouldn't mind either of Dolphins or Wahs winning. |

Really hope you guys win it. If you can get 2nd and reckon you will, no reason why you can't make Sydney. Fortunately you'll have Manly last game in Auckland which I"m taking the family to (lucky lot) so a guaranteed couple of points on current form. |

Great night tonight with Wahs and Panthers and Roosters v Bulldogs. Yeah Titans are a weird bunch. Seemingly put in so the other 16 sides can have a jolly in Surfers Paradise for the weekend. Only ground where they have an away fan merchandise at their ground. Like away teams going to Selhurst Park in Wimbledon days. Still managed to lose to them though. |

Not been a great weekend for the Bunker down here. Missed knock ons for tries for Bulldogs and Panthers. (Bulldogs one took 3 minutes to get wrong). Dragons screwed over against the Dolphins by a knock on not noticed then touch judges not noticing Walshs conversion going between the posts and them taking about 5 goes to see if it had gone over. Standard of reffing down here getting worse and worse. |

Went last night. Absolutely no way NSW win that 13 v 13. Cleary superb for last 30 but agree on Strange being MoM. Tackle on Munster v important. Plenty of changes needed though for Game 2. Haas and Mitchell back should help to start. Cannot believe the Ponga sending off has caused any debate. Not wrapped, and clearly a shoulder to the head first. The real disgrace is that he doesn't cop a ban owing to it being a rep game and yet Koula is stood down for 2 games on concussion protocol. Either way, NSW won't get away playing like they did for 60 minutes again. |

Yes mate, moved to the Beaches last year and similar to you have massively got into it. Will still watch the odd Rs game if they are at a vaguely sociable hour but fair to say NRL takes up most my sporting support now. Already been to Townsville, Brisbane for Magic Round and have a Gold Coast New Zealand trip booked up for the rest of the year Well it certainly wasn't a VlandysBall fest last night against the Titans but grinding a win out without our Origin Players and Hopoate was if anything even more satisfying. Absolutely no doubt we'd have lost that under Siebold. Did really confirm though whilst I reckon well play finals it'll be next 2 years where we could be a proper threat to winning the comp. Yeah was a shame last year about the Raiders. Think most neutrals were behind you as well over here. Suspect it might be get ducks in a row for next year, and maybe get a couple of more mobile forwards to replace the likes of Papali'i. See there were no charges for Horsbrough and Smithies which I dare say makes it the more frustrating some of those decisions Thursday. |

Hi mate Think you're missing Fogarty a lot this year. Whilst I reckon Sanders has the makings of a very good half back, think you can see decision making still needs a bit of work. He's been great since coming to Manly as has been exactly what the side has needed, playing in a structured way and an upgrade on DCEs kicking game. Yeah do agree it has been a bit of a frustrating watch this year, especially with things that are 6 agains one week not being 6 agains in the game after. Far too much influence from the bunker as well on things. Take the Raiders game on Thursday with that decision for the "elbow" on Ray Stone. Agreed as well the Roosters Cowboys was the best game for a neutral to watch, especially with how gutsy they were in that second half where the reffing and bunker were questionable to say the least. With Origin really not sure how they'll ref it. One thing for sure is that it isn't a great indictment on reffing down here that Ashley Klein is seen as the best ref. |

Yep with Bostock and JMK coming back they look a pretty strong side now. Next step is to stay consistent which hasn't been a strength, especially given a fair few of theirs should be in Origin Mix. |

So first trip to Magic Round. Only doing the Saturday but some decent matchups Friday night. Bulldogs still look dreadful and despite the roster can't see much improvement. Sharks poor last week (changed tip to them after Latrell injury) bit got Ramien and Mulitalo back. Fancy Sharks. Souths Dolphins could be anything. Could be 50 all. Think Souths will edge it. Then my lot v Tigers. In true QPR style just the type of game we'd lose but Tigers injuries may be a little too much. Mindset seems different under Foz. Shame Dearden out as thought Cowboys and Chooks would have been close. Can't see anything past Roosters Storm Eels an interesting one coming off decent results last week. Think Storm nick ot and just in time to play Grant and Munster in form for Origin Sunday with the exception of Wahs Broncos doesn't look overly competitive. Think Warriors will still have too much for the Broncs. Penrith Dragons doesn't beat thinking about. Thank God I didn't move to Kogarah or Wollongong. Either way, looking forward to a great weekend. |

First post on the board. Longstanding QPR fan who has now massively got into Manly since moving to Sydney last year. Just back from the Broncos game and the job Foran has done with the same group of players that Siebold had as spoon contenders has been incredible. Look forward to getting involved on this thread |
