Did you watch the game?. His work in both the boxes needs to be recognised. The lay off for Smyth? Or do you just hate him because of course its Dykes? I'm not his biggest fan, but he is the only CF we have. Armstrong is pony, Frey is injured, hates us & England or just doesn't fancy it who knows? Ok. Outstanding, maybe OTT. However compared to Armstrong on Saturday, it was a fking mile in front. |

Funny how we all see games different. I thought Dykes was outstanding & Chair should've been hooked at HT or even earlier. Taking off our Danish Jesus was poor I thought. |

Marti is not blameless, he is absolutely culpable. Armstrong starting (pathetic), Field a game too far. Willock the pillock, all on him mate. Left it far too late to make changes. It was a game we needed to not lose. Everyone bottled it today. The starting XI was not the right choice. That is on the Manager. |

Get rid, waste of a shirt. Offers nothing but fouls going forward, useless in defence. No strikers instinct. Useless. Bin him off. |

The most predictable thing ever that result today. Chatting to the people around me, we all agreed that we really, really need an early goal. Our race was run by half time. Could go on a bit of a rant, some really sub par performances, especially 2nd half - but it's been a good few weeks, so slack needs to be cut I reckon. Onwards & upwards, we will win next week. |

Thing is, I was convinced he would score it. Grabbed the ball, looked so focused ,intense, steely eyed even, run up like he was gonna rip the net off and then.... well, it was a bloody back pass. Prat. He choked and mis-hit the bloody ball. Not an odd decision to give your CF free reign on Pens, probably a game or two too soon for him in such an important game for us though (hindsight, great innit). Couple of goals on Saturday though please Frey... no penalties, leave them for Colback. The officials, tossers. [Post edited 6 Mar 22:45]

I'm not crying you are... A wonderful tribute. Thank you Simon. My 1st season ticket was 1974/75, 7 years old sat in SAR with my Uncle Len & Uncle Charlie. What a time to be a Superhoop. Kept that seat for for many a year before moving to Upper Loft. So many memories, UEFA Cup nights, under lights - school in the morning. happiest of times. RIP Stan, my hero. |
