Some players have to work hard for it, Charlie Austin, Harry Kane for example, but they learn, others have a natural gift for it, Clive Allen, Haaland, Gary Lineker. It's an instinct, strikers knowing where to be, reading what may happen.
Alfie is certainly no Clive, but may develop, like Harry. No need for a pile-on just yet..

I'm claiming this one.
Moaned like fuk, switched off soon as we went -0-2. Went for a stroll around the steep streets of Tbilisi, had a pint. Left the phone in hotel deliberately as wanted to avoid live score updates. Happy as the proverbial pig in Sh*t as of 10 mins ago when I got back to the room! [Post edited 19 Sep 17:13]

Seems the injuries have taken a toll on Madsen and he has morphed back to the 2024-25 version, not the 2025-26 one, we enjoyed so much..

It is a mistake to change a winning team line-up when there is no need, It's Warnock 101 rules. You start that same side if all fit, try to exert dominance - get a goal in front, un-nerve the oppo, then rest the players that need it.
Not hand them a win on a f**king plate... Piss poor selection today, for me.

Two weeks in Georgia ( not America ), flying to Tbilisi first, for a few days. Cross country train , then 11 days at the Black Sea resort of Batumi...
Can't wait. BA take the piss though - 6 hours on a A320, no entertainment, no nothing for your £500 return airfare... |

I would bin Errea for their shocking away & 3rd shirts. Must've cost us a fortune with the lack of sales with the last few seasons attempts.
