I don't think (in the main) it was the toxic fans who drove him out - it was getting overruled by the board a lot of the time and not being able to do the DoF role properly. |

This also is only a matter of time. All these US businessmen looking to invest in the Premier League, and they're presented with the concept of relegation. That's no way to protect an investment! |

Well yeah, we now have a Premier League "Hall of Fame" FFS. So I think you can see the direction of travel. |

The appreciation of Laird, Roberts and Dozzell is really quite bewildering. Laird definitely the best of them but his head dropped once the team started to struggle. You mean to tell me that he's up for the fight at Birmingham?? |

Southgate's biggest issue is his in-game management especially against the stronger teams. In this respect he doesn't seem to have learnt, I suppose we'll see this summer if he can adapt any better. |

The kids want to go and see the new one - I know it'll be a bag of shite but we'll probably go this weekend anyway. Sad truth is I'd prefer to see Kung Fu Panda 4... |

Suppose there's the argument for putting your best penalty taker first or last - but of course in a shoot out you might not get to the fifth kick. Think Wales were struggling for options at that point anyway! |

Actually thought Foden was a bit Chair-esque: always wanting the ball and trying to make things happen but last night his decision making was off. Still a great asset for England. Bowen also looked busy, lots of energy which really helps this team. I only caught the end of the Brazil game but it seems last night we looked a lot better playing on the front foot with a bit more pace (funnily enough). I suppose we have a chance if our first choice defence are all fit - but anyway lots of reasons to be cheerful. I was flicking between England and the Wales game, the quality in that was far worse. |

Hope it's more Frey and Armstrong than Dykes. I think Dykes' course as a QPR striker is run. Although he could still contribute in that more attacking midfield role. |
