I'm not sure your cautionary tale is a true reflection of events. Stockdale should have been sacked at the end of the previous season and a decent manager brought in. Instead he was backed heavily and then sacked too early in the next season leaving us in a mess and having to resort to JB. |

Fair enough, a professional statement and their position is clear. Still, lose our next two games and the calls for his head will get much louder and their stance will really be pushed. |

Much better and gives the manager some breathing space. 3 well taken goals and a clean sheet, you can't argue with that. Tonight demonstrated that we have signed some quality, albeit I can't help but feel the recruitment has been somewhat disjointed. I still fear for us, as an overall defensive unit, Shrews looked poor and still carved us open more than once. Plenty of positives and plenty still to work on as would be fair to expect at this stage of the season. |

At this moment in time I'm not convinced that we can field a starting 11 stronger than that which started the play off final. I'm gearing up for a slow start to the season, with the hope that the squad will adapt to the new system and we are able to bring in a bit more quality. |

It was a genuine question by the way, I think the importance of it is being overstated but that's just my opinion. Saying that I haven't bought a football shirt in years and even longer since I was a full kit winker, so what do I know?
In answer to your question, though, I would suggest the idea would be the average shirt buying fan might like at least one of the designs and therefore be more likely to spend money. Perhaps they realised the home kit curly colour wasn't a good look? I've genuinely always thought it was lazy when clubs release home & away kits with the same design and different colour schemes. |

It's pink and made by O'Neills so, yeah, it's low quality rubbish. Not sure why people think they're needs to be consistency between home and away designs though? Surely better to have different designs from a commercial POV. |

Tuchel sold as the difference in these key games and last night is where he should have earned his corn. It hurts because it didnt need to be like that. We had rode out the Argentinian shit housing, grown into the game, scored a great goal and then we surrendered. |

More than possible to be underwhelmed by the signing of a player who has never played about NLN level. Feeding in to this, I'm sure, will be a general feeling that we appear to be behind on recruitment compared to other teams.
How can you disagree with someone who says they are underwhelmed by a signing?It's an expression of how they are feeling not a statement that a signing will not be a success. |
