Fulham game in Boston anywhere
at 23:53 14 Mar 2018

I am in Boston for a week. Does anyone know any decent places where I can watch the game on Saturday? It will be early doors but I'd prefer not to watch it in my hotel room. A bar would be good if anyone has any ideas

talk about not doing yourself any favours to try and break into the starting XI.

how bad was that cameo on Saturday...

Just a reminder whilst we have so many players on our books, very few of them are worthy of starting week in week out

On way back
at 18:59 30 Nov 2013

Very poor show today. We seemed arrogant and felt we just had to turn up to get a result. I thought Barton done well and basically was a one man midfield. Jenna's was back to himself and really went missing but today O'neill and Kranjkar were very poor.

Can't remember a shot in the second half or a decent passage of play.

Really disappointed today. Let's hope we bounce back on tue.

Not sure if this has been mentioned before but I came across a series of AwaydaysNot reports on YouTube by a Spurs fan.

Great entertainment.

A few thoughts from the game
at 22:39 27 Aug 2013

Swindon were a pretty tidy team, especially in the first half. Had quite a bit of zip in their play.

Nile Ranger gave Onouha a real tough time today and often managed to out muscle him.

Diakate didn't do much. Didn't help he played on the right but either way was basically non-existent. Jenas for me went missing again. Faurlin didn't help himself either.

Austin really should have equalised with the header, could really have done for that to go in simply to build his confidence up. To me as the game went on he was becoming desperate to score. For a young lad he can head the ball ans is fairly tough. More to come from him I'm sure.

Zamora is simply past it. He may be injured or whatever, but it was like playing with 10 men.

SWP, works hard but offers nothing. The one on one chance summed him up for me.

I'm not too disheartened as we made a lot of changes and we are desperately short on players in the squad. Where was Traore today? Managed to get a small run out on Sat but not even on the bench today?

Our lack of creativity was highlighted today. No killer pass and no options available with movement so we played sideways far too much which invited pressure.

Let's just hope Hoilett will be back soon from injury.

Wolves transfer list 4...
at 13:17 24 Jun 2013

just reading Wolves have transfer listed 4 of their players;

Karl Henry, Jamie O'Hara, Roger Johnson and Stephen Ward...

then read that Wolves bought O'Hara for £5m from Spurs and Johnson for £7m in the same transfer window two years ago now effectively they are giving them away... Wolves are going to find it tough next season methinks...

What really wound me up this week...
at 10:00 21 Apr 2013

Was not on the pitch, but off it. I read that the club met with fans groups earlier regarding season ticket prices/packages for next season.

Shows how poorly we are run when in April as a club we still don't know what to offer next season. Is there any forward planning going on at the club?

I can see it now. Prices will remain the same, however more championship games means we get more for our money. From announcement of ST we will have 4 weeks or something silly to secure our seats. No loyalty points carried forward, no change to the membership scheme and no early bird...however the club will review them all for the following season....

ST prices and announcements is going to be a massive moment for the board. They have to get it right. However only now starting to discuss options shows our badly we are run.

And yes I am a negative miserable git.

Season ticket cost
at 12:06 2 Apr 2013

A Watford fan at work has told me his ST is £355 regardless of the division they'll be in!

I hope the club have learnt lessons from previous seasons on our prices.

Lets hope they announce them early enough for people to get the cash together, and offer an early bird incentive. Clearly at a reasonable cost as well.

Get this wrong, and I feel it will be the last straw for many fans who won't bother next season.

Liverpool away trains
at 20:22 7 Mar 2013

Has anyone found any decent train tickets for the Liverpool game?

From what I can make out Virgin Trains have not released any cheap tickets. May try London Midland but I prefer a faster direct train.

Anyone had any luck yet?

todays game..
at 18:10 26 Jan 2013

clearly disappointed we're not in the hat for the next round. However i'm surprised that some people are comparing this to Vauxhall Motors.

before i go on, some of the fans today, where do they come from! chap behind me 5 mins in "is that Gabbidon'. 10 mins later, 'is that Adel'...

MK got 2 really lucky goals today and hit us on the break for the third. We had plenty of possession and were camped in their half for the first 45.

No excuse for Anton's schoolboy error, or really the performance of Park. However this was nothing like the liverpool debacle for me. today was a very under strength team who should have done better. But we've got Anton at the back who clearly isn't rated highly, or even that good. Faurlin who is probably still suffering from not being introduced back correctly after his injury. Granero who hasn't played last few games. Park whose legs seem to have gone. Up front two strikers we've called back from their loan periods at championship clubs. oh and a player on a short term contract (Ben Haim).

that was our team today, a mishmash of however was available and who we didn't want to risk for two home games in a week.

I would have loved to go through, but you know what, we're bottom of the league for a reason. Our first XI are probably still short on confidence and clearly our second XI do not have the quality.

Again, i thought MK were very lucky to somehow go 2 nil up at the break as we were camped in their half. If DJ had managed to stay onside when he scored, we could have gone on from there. Every chance they had they scored.

Just look at the bench today Derry, Mbia, Zamora, Hogan, Onhua, Hill. Nobody with the ability to change the game.

I dont like paying to watch us concede 4 at home to a league one team. But today for me was just one of them days, they scored with an OG, a mistake from our player and on the break. Game over.

One person to blame today. Mark Hughes. It will take us a heck of a long time to put back his mess.
