Yeah, my Southampton supporting work colleague is seriously unhappy. |

I said a couple of days ago that it's going to be a few kids starting or on the bench. Can't see what else JS can do now with the injuries. |

100%. The negativity of some on here is nuts. We have to play these guys to find out if they can step up, if we don't try, well we can go sign another Washington, Bonne, Dykes etc etc. What could be better than watching Kolli and Bennie up top in a game? Cost us naff all, but could make us £m. |

Next season. Great signing though. |

That's it support a 19yo when he gets a chance. He's powerful, got an eye for goal, he's young and he's ours. Let's right him off though. |

It's a good opportunity for Bennie though. Let's face it, we aren't going to hit playoffs due to the injuries so a good chance to start getting ready for next season. |
 | Forum Reply | W Ham losing last night good or bad thing? at 13:25 7 Jan 2026
Having sat through their game last night I can confirm that West Ham are proper shyte. Forest thoroughly deserved the win. Bar Jared Bowen, West Ham don't offer much, but with 5 or 6 starters out for us I still think a comfortable 2/3-0 win to them. If everyone was available I'd have backed us to win. Fully expect a 2nd string QPR to play. Bennie, Esquadinha, Tylon Smith, Isak Aleymayehu to start or be on the bench. |

Listen to Madsens interview on the W12 Podcast. By playing two destroyers next to Madsen, you would in effect be moving Madsen into the 10 role. Madsen, in the interview, said the 10 in England is completely different to 10 in Europe, and he couldn't do it. He now looks much better in a deeper role. |

Rumours on that Social Media thingy that multiple L1 clubs are wanting to take Daniel Bennie on loan. That would be a good standard to go on loan to. |

I'm starting to wonder if someone has sprayed weedkiller rather than Miraclegrow. I can't understand why it has died off so quickly. The only other reason is that it is getting relaid this summer, so thought sod spending any money on it? |

I don't think it helps any manager/coach in the dugout having Fergie up in the stands with the owners etc. Same thing happened when Busby retired. |
 | Forum Thread | How many injuries?! at 17:18 4 Jan 2026
I made it four injuries in the game today that resulted in substitution; Burrell, Varane, Poku and if u include Morrison in the warm up. When was the last time that happened? |
 | Forum Reply | Kolli at 16:34 4 Jan 2026
100% pure profit against FFP if he is sold in the future as well. It does feel like some on here are actively wishing that he fails, it's just odd. We need him, Morgan and others to push through for the future of our club. Hopefully he has a run in the team and the goals flow. |

I think it is more about getting him minutes on the pitch as JS has said he is a CM longer term. I'd sooner he played 20 minutes at RB rather than zero as JS will only put him in CM. I think it's good management and probably a template for how our DS are brought through. |
