You have my full sympathies,been sleeping on the Sofa downstairs for best part of 2 months while she overheats every night & I can snore as much as I like so win win..Trigger point is if suggested you maybe menopausal but apparently it’s peri menopause & Refueses to try HRT so my life will probably only get worse when it’s full on..Qpr are my escape for a few hours despite the result.. |

Mate of mine’s Dad bought a brand new Reliant Robin & because my mate had a motorbike licence he was allowed to drive it..first time out for an afternoon’s swimming at a local outdoor pool,stopped off at the local fish n chips shop on the way home with 3 of us in the back & he took a right turn too quick & it went over on one side,bounced up & went over on the other side totally writing it off as we staggered out of the back covered in chips,scraps & tomato sauce but totally uninjured somehow..his Dad wasn’t best pleased to say the least..😂 |

They charged us an extortionate amount a few seasons ago over New Year as I remember it & they classed it a category B game, the Ed Sheeran,your music is shite game..Got to pay for a Premiership squad somehow I suppose so I’ll be there if I can get a ticket. |

From the School end, the moment the equaliser went in & they’re player raced to pick the ball out of the net to get play restarted told me they knew we were there for the taking & so it proved regardless we were down to 10..poor game management is the only conclusion.. |

Played 11 a side every Saturday afternoon & Sunday morning after leaving school until one fateful day in 1995 when 1 minute & 26 seconds after kick off I incurred a compound Tib/Fib fracture and that was that. Surgeon said it was the worst football fracture he’d ever seen and due to the mud in the wound he couldn’t insert a pin for fear of an infection so spent 8 months in various plasters that did the job & luckily I don’t even walk with a limp. I’m 63 now & a mate is seriously into walking football which I’m thinking of giving a go coz I still miss not playing as I walk the dog past a game going on but not sure if the knees would cope nowadays.. |

Last year was awful, never been so cold & on the approach to Leicester realising how thick the fog was I thought this will never go ahead. But it did, couldn’t see a bloody thing not helped by our gold shirts that paled into insignificance in more ways than one & the absence of a good old F.A cup orange ball, aka Sunderland v Leeds on a perfectly sunny day. Left when the 5th went in & my Grandson started crying bless him..Oh and got a speeding ticket 2 weeks later for doing 47 in a 40 on a duel carriageway 100 yards before it becomes 60mph again.. |

Thanks for the tip regards Dhillon’s brewery yesterday Stow,great venue with friendly Cov fans banging out some great tunes..Their social media guy approached our small gaggle of R’s fans to take our picture looking perplexed why we were all singing along with gusto when Hi Ho Silver Lining came on 😂 Shame we had to leave really with what happened next.. |

Wedding’s & funerals are the bane of my life..missed the day out in Cardiff thankfully due to my partner at time best friends swanky wedding,if you go,I won’t be there when you get home..Bobby Zamora day,had everything sorted including a work swop until a much esteemed work colleague who I’d partied with 48 hours earlier dropped dead over her washing machine & all bets were off.Who gets cremated on a Saturday ffs. |
