This doesnt quite finish PNE's playoff Hope's but it really would take a miracle. if they win their last 3, and Norwich lost all 3, they could finish 6th. Provided nobody else in the hunt does as well. They did have a tight away record, before tonight. |

Losing about 2m per month. The level of initial investment, AFAIK, is 3-5m and then you have the ongoing costs. To give what? The possibility of a 10m+ player every 5 years. |

They did send a warning last year. You can use it to buy tickets for PNE or Leeds. |

Not sure about that but it must be close. I thought Sam Robson got a few tons at the back end Don't know if the Kookaburra gets the blame but, for the last few years, Middx have had a decent bowling attack and no batters. This year looks the reverse. |

Cat A status doesn't stop your promising youngsters being poached. It does, however, make it more expensive for the club doing the poaching. Another factor is the infrastructure and cost of moving from Cat B to Cat A. We can't afford to do so. The key is to ensure we have the recruitment, facilities, coaching and progression that means youngsters want to stay at QPR. [Post edited 16 Apr 8:54]

It's farcical. First 2 rounds have produced huge scores and 1 result. It's supposed to be an even contest between bat and ball. It isn't ATM. 2 Middlesex games have seen: Northeast 335 not out; Ingram 132 no in a total of 620-3. Middx response 655 incl 221 from Ryan Higgins. Northants- Gay 261 and Sales 113 no Middx response 553-2 with Fernandes 113; Holden 211 no and Du Plooy 196 no That's not entertainment but a glorified procession. |

Sorry for your loss, John. A lovely tribute to someone who seemed to have a spark about her. Cherish the good memories. |

Field, Dykes and Kelman have all agreed extensions this season. I'd like to see Dunne, EDB and Armstrong on longer term deals. I can't see any way Willock will stay. Rumours of interest in JCS is encouraging. Could we get a good price due to competition. Cashing in on Chair before he goes into last year would make sense. 2 sales would fund replacements. Begovic, Archer, Kakay, Drewe, Gubbins, Dozzell, Duke-McKenna can all go. There's a fair number from Dev Squad who aren't going to make it. Time for QPR to be more ruthless. |

Every result going our way. Cardiff beating Brum 1-0. Ex-QPR Bowler scores Blackburn losing 5-0 to damage their GD. 2 for ex QPR Nakhi Wells Stoke losing. Hull in a competitive game. Hopefully wears them out for Saturday. |

My take is that Pedder looks good at that level, but hasn't got the physique to cope at Championship level. Bala looks talented but, again, he's tiny. Not stopped Ilias, though. |

Kelman wasn't the only QPR striker to notch a double yesterday. Alfie Lloyd scored twice as Dev Squad beat Crewe 7-0. |
