Depends what the underlying issues are, the transfer fee, wages, contract terms etc.. Every transfer has its risks, this seems to have more than most. Medical advice to negotiators will be key. |

Exactly why there is no such thing as a failed medical.
Unless we are seriously underplaying the Cabango injury, I don't see the need either. Even if Lissah is viewed as a right back rather than a centre half at this stage. |

Yep - Valencia clearly want him away, but the move has to be right for him. A player being pushed by his club into a move that he doesn't want to a team in another country isn't going to be a happy bunny. Time to look elsewhere. |

You've got a better eye than me. In the first season I thought he looked half a yard too slow in thought and action even though the service he got was nothing to write home about.Hoped he would get used to the pace of the championship but didn't expect last season. |

Age
Barely played for Rangers last season
Lots of ankle and muscle injuries throughout his career
Would give us 5 centre halves including Lissah unless one of Burgess or Cabango is on their way |

That seems to be the price point for a player that should make a difference in the championship. However there will be other clubs in the championship and premier league that will be scouting that same market who will offer more in wages and perhaps potential.
Presumably there are a number of players that have been identified by scouting/metrics for the position(s) that we are looking to fill. |
