Much as I expected. A low scoring game with the Seattle defence in charge. |

I am only interested in the game and don’t usually bother with the halftime show, but tonight I will make an exception. Could be interesting. |

I've taken the gamble and bought my Leicester train tickets already and even they weren't cheap. |

Squad no.99. Always thought he was a bit of a flake. |

And wasn’t there once a LFW barbecue (piss-up) many moons ago, for a transfer window deadline day? Hilarious all day blog, as I recall. That did happen didn’t it? We’re all much older and wiser now, of course. |

Or, perhaps just to play devil’s advocate, the signing of Edwards used up any contingency funds and we can now no longer afford any loans to help out with the growing injury list. [Post edited 5 Feb 10:01]

Sad to see him go. He has indeed been a good servant to the club and from what I can see a model professional. But at 28, he is going to want regular first team football at, at least, this level. As others have said, this is probably as much a decision by the player, as it is the club. |

So which was the best - the performance, the result or Clive’s report? Who cares. All excellent and there’s no need to choose. |

At one point 2 subs were stripped and ready for a double substitution, then we scored so it didn’t happen. |

Eustace is shrewd as well. Eyebrows were raised when he jumped to Derby from Blackburn last season. He’s been vindicated as the on-going bin fire at Blackburn shows. |

What you mean the excellent squad-building strategy I read so much about on the Nourry thread? LOLed. |

I was going to say, some header that. Also, good to see Royal Madrid being punished with red cards. Something that rarely happens in Spain. |

Taunting him playing for a moribund Sheffield Wednesday side is going to look a tad stupid as he turns in a MOTM performance against us at the Den in April. |

Come on Clive, don’t be negative. Surely this is another achievement that we can chalk up for a great leader. |

No I don't like him because I think he is a chancer. That he is posh is incidental, although though I will concede it is possibly a contributory factor. Some of my best friends are posh etc. |

The recruitment of JS. A positive I think. But he certainly owes us one after MC and of course the JS project could still go either way. There, I'm really making an effort. |

Mate I really don't like the way he communicates with us fans. And yes that was right from the off. As I said, I really want and would be happy to be wrong about him. I am just not seeing any real evidence to change my mind. Would you care to have another go at convincing me? |

A better squad? Possibly, I might give you that, but last season’s roster (particularly strikers?), the start of this season, up to and including Coventry away? Some decent sales? ‘Some’ implies several and certainly more than one, who are we counting in this? Clearing some deadwood – Again I might give you this one, but he’s also got rid of Marti Cifuentes and Paul Furlong, are you counting either of those as deadwood or are we just conveniently forgetting about those ‘departures’? Training Ground? Predates him surely? What do you think he hasn’t achieved? - I am struggling to answer that without being facetious. I don’t think what you have provided amounts to much. I mean I could list lots of negatives but I don’t want to be considered as just a negative guy. Jury is still out for me, but as I said, can’t think of anything substantial that has changed my initial opinion. [Post edited 27 Jan 20:07]
