Hate people who critcise the ratings but I would be tempted to bump up Saito, Adamson a mark ot two. Thought we absolutely had them onntoast down that left in first half but just couldn't get the goal but all good! |

Great effort as always and pretty much spot on. Madsen deserves his A rating and who would have thought that last year
I still think Saito will do really well for QPR and I hope we don't get to beaten down about his drop off during season. As you say our win percentage is higher with him in and one of reasons for that is he works hard and he pushes us more upfield than other players like Varane and Field. |

Brilliant report. Thanks Clive. I honestly think we have some good defenders and there is potential but clearly not a good season for us
Edwards was brilliant the season before on loan so let's hope he can hit those highs
Mbengue is barking mad but he's committed and plays exciting football - as yiu say we as fans turn up for interest so I think he will be good next season
Clarke salter is mustard when he's fit and if he can have a proper summer who knows but we have been here before many many times
Dunne also clearly now the player we rely on most
We just need a couple more signings to play alongside these as knowing QPR and Clarke salters trakx record - we wills need it |

Great assessment and thanks Clive. I agree with you - Walsh feels like a number 2 keeper but it looks like we will take another half season to draw that conclusion as a club
Nardi - I wish the best for and I really liked him. I thought he was incredible when he first came and is a brilliant shot stopper but as you say he was quickly worked out and crosses became a tactic against us. Perhaps he was just too nice to be a keeper as you need to be selfish and willing to be rough with opposition to get that ball first |

Nice report and spot on with Dykes. Yes we can miss him now he's gone as absence makes heart grow fonder. But while he worked hard and could put in a shift. He has a poor finish and Friday night proved that again. Would never question his endeavour but he's not a striker |

Great article and wise to be cautious given some of our 'best signings' on paper have blown up in our face. Think Caulker, Junior Hoilett, Esteban Granero, Samba Diakite, Chris Samba, SWP to name a few
Honestly couldnt believe our luck the first few weeks we signed them but none of. The ended up well other than a a play off moment with Hoilett he should have been a massive future star, Granero was fantastic but it felt like we never won a game with him!
So let's be aware but also I do have hope he will turn out great.
I do feel some of your references to Saito are on the harsh side, I get it he has been quiet some matches, but he often creates at least one great opportunity for us a game and he's often involved in the build up in good passes of play in my opinion. Still an awesome signing for us

Great article and well done on bringing some balance to the discussion. I do find it embarrassing that our cup record is so bad and also that we disregard it so badly that we would be better off opting out of it.
I also have to slightly criticise the manager here as it’s been laid out above that we needed perhaps 2 senior players to help babysit this one through at a minimum. If we had done that we would have taken the win - got a good feeling going into next week, our manager would have his first win and our kids would have learnt something
Now we are in a position of lose the next 3-4 games and manager is already under pressure. Sad but true |

Great report and hadn’t read about the 7-0 before. The keeper certainly wasn’t to blame - the Burnley defenders were awful and gifted us the first two and then were all out at sea for rest! |

Not that it matters but Cricinfo has this great system which ranks how a player contributes towards a positive result for the team. Therefore players can rank up to any figure and other plays can score negatively. If we did this for todays game then Morgan Fox would score -100 as he literally handed the game to them.
I hope he retires
