Am happier with that draw than the two recent 0-0s we should have won.
After 5 injuries in 3 games to some of our best players, to go to one of the best home teams in the league and draw is superb.
Battered first half but second half held our own wish Poku shot went in he needs it. Well done lads
PS can we have the (balder) version of Harvey Vale back who could drop a corner into the far top corner? Him and Kone not been at the same summer camp, it's like they've been on the p1ss all summer with me |

Played some nice but personally v dissapointed. This is a bang average Bolton team, there for the taking. And like with Oxford et al last season, we just look toothless against teams we should really dominate.
Mistake taking Kone off, he looked rusty but was making things happen. Why not keep him on and play him and Burrel together, and go for the win? |

I really enjoyed last night. Lovely setting with the fields and sunset, and Rs fans on great form.
Bromley GK and defence clearly weak, but you can only beat what's put in front of you and we were excellent. From the off we were hungry, sharp, and wanting to be on the ball. Isak was exceptional his first touch is 5x better than Morgan and looked the part, and what a goal. Chair running things and great to see Lloyd having such confidence. And I love our new keeper, some of the passes he sprayed down the wing. And defence didnt give them a sniff.
Will be interesting to see the 2nd friendly team try and match them. Squad looks in a really good place - fit sharp & harmonious |

I've been watching these every day since September, they are brilliant.
So great to contrast the different Rs teams across the eras, and lots of old matches from 70s/80s I've not seen before

John Lithgow as Churchill in The Crown was a odd one. A giant American who just couldn't get the accent right.
Then again it's a really hard role to nail. Lots of great actors have struggled. Oldman won an Oscar but for me doesn't lay a hand on the ultimate depiction by Albert Finney in the Gathering Storm |

He has got better over the season, but 9 pages on here tells you the consensus are far from convinced.
I predict that he's got a lot more errors in him and will cost us games next season. If he's not taking us forward then we need better. Also, per our 'model', nobody is going to pay big bucks so find a better prospect from L1 |

Agreed.
We do look so good at times on the counter with our 4-4-2
Seems to suit us when we play the better sides, but we need a Plan B when we play teams nearer the bottom, who we seem to struggle to break down |

I thought Edwards was man of the match, made countless interceptions, and looked really solid with Jimmy. GREAT news for the next few years of the club. And JCS back too ! (for now)
Second half Kolli got back in it, Saito a threat, and Kone never stopped running and deserved his goal.
This is why I don't comment during matches, we all get a bit too passionate and say some things that look pretty dumb come the final whistle (include myself in that)

Incredible story - thanks for sharing. Sums up social media.
Those platforms have done nothing but damage to society and individuals. Incredible that it's taken this long for countries - led by the Aussies - to realise they shouldn't be allowed anywhere near kids. But to be honest they do know good for adults either.
I work in communities and you see the best of people when they're off screens, out meeting other people, and looking to help those in need. I hate the fact the term 'online communities' was coined - as they are NOT communities. When people are anonymous, and not in person, they too often go from human to something a long way from it.
Anyway, rant over. Go back to work Paddy. |
