The only reason Hebbden Bridge doesn't have a Tesco Metro and other coporate behomeths is that it has been completly colonised by the middle classes and alternative (rich) types - very much like Totnes. There is also a thriving gay community. |

Agree with Steve that the Great western is a good pub.
My favourite would be the Combermere in Chapel Ash (WV3 0TY) - about 10/15minutes from the ground but going west towards Tetenhall. Again no colours I would asume but a decent real ale pub. I shall be there early but then leaving by 12.45 as my bro in law has a box - so a spot of lunch and then see the rangers win in the company of many Wolves fans - perfect. |

pre match - sheffield tap on Platform 1 at the Station; and,
post match - Rutland Arms, Charles Street - good beer, food and Blades for 'banter' |
