Bristol City v Swansea City : Match day thread : UPDATED
at 10:54 23 Nov 2025

Proper fans will always be there, as they were when we were genuinely cr@p. This is a bad patch, fans, players and club need to be pulling together in the right direction. At the very least, passion and grit.

On my way home after watching another cowardly negative performance from both players and manager.
No fight and no ideas, players look clueless. Same old slow sidewards backwards rubbish, drawing pressure of which we cave into. Hopefully Matos has the coaching ability to turn it around, genuinely concerned the jobs too big for him.

Agree fully, he has credit in the bank but we should be doing better than we are.

Sheehan did a good job as a caretaker manager, steadying the ship. Unfortunately this is carrying on with him as permanent manager. Safe and steady with little progress.

How do you assess your feelings towards the club and its majority owners
at 17:07 2 Sep 2025

It appears to have been a very good window, but only time will tell. Keeping hold of VIP whilst bringing in Idah is a huge positive and definitely would not have happened with the previous regime.

Got no sympathy for clubs who keep falling for the same old "project and philosophy" nonsense.

Another windfall for Russ as a reward for failure. Must be great being so crap at your job they pay you not to come back!

A group of us are hoping to go, but not enough seats together on the map. Hoping they open another block.

Swansea City : Sheehan confident that a striker could be with the Swans soon LAT

I'm impressed that if it is "close" nothing much is circulating in the rumours.

The important stuff

I have never understood how a club owned by Americans has such poor commercial sense, they are normally over the top at cashing in commercially, we must miss out on so much. It's not just financially, it affects the match day experience for some

Swans still to have official talks with Sheehan
at 16:46 22 Apr 2025

Absolutely clueless!
Longer this drags on reduces the chances of Sheehan staying. His stock is rising, he's proving himself. An owner who understands football will take a punt, and we will be left with more what ifs.

A bargain ?

Fair price in comparison the the usual rip off footy shirt prices. Wouldn't say bargain though.

Unfortunately I think a half decent January transfer window has saved out inferior neighbours this season.

It's a standoff, Coleman doesn't want to pay luke off, luke wants a payoff. It is like rewarding someone for failing, but that's the nature of the game.

where and why has it gone wrong?
at 19:49 15 Feb 2025

He's changed formation and moved players about, but as a coach/manager is unable to set a game plan so it works. Players have gone backwards in ability not on in the way we play. Every day he's here is damaging

We have a one dimensional coach who is unable nor won't change things when they clearly aren't working. The fans have lost confidence as seems the players have, the passion and belief has gone. We are just waiting for Coleman to wake up and see it the same. We are in trouble.
