It looked like a training session for West Ham, they hardly seemed to break sweat and once ahead never looked like losing. And more pathetic excuses afterwards from Redknapp about players not being fit.

Losing to a team from up North who occupy a lowly position in the League has been a hallmark of successive QPR teams for as long as I can remember. The whole thing had a nasty inevitability about it.

I'm not complaining with our position in the League and hopefully by this time next week we'll be 6 points better off but clearly we are not a stand out side and perhaps there is still a hangover from last season. Its a purely hypothetical point but with this team, the current management and the style of play, I wonder where we would be were we still in the Premier League.

It will be interesting to see if Redknapp dives in to the transfer market in January. If he does, i'll seriously be wondering if he's lost his ability to manage. After all, he had 10 weeks in summer to flush out the deadwood, build 'his' squad and get them to gel and play as a team. He succeeded to a degree with the former but the jury's out on the latter. The lack of goals remains my biggest concern.

Another season another Cup nightmare. I felt during the recent Ipswich game that we could do with raising the tempo a bit - our pace of play was quite sluggish at times. Hopefully this will serve as a wake up call.

I know its still early days (and obviously no complaints with the league position!) but the general lack of goals so far this season is also a bit of a concern.

The league table doesn't lie.

We need to (as far as possible) clear the decks and start again. I don't want to tempt fate but after plumbing the depths that we have this season, there's hopefully one way to go.

Now that we have succumbed to the inevitable, i'm looking forward to next season. Hopefully the Club/Redknapp will have success offloading some/all these underachieving prima donnas and get some young blood in who can both play and are prepared to die for the cause. It may take a season or two and there may be further pain along the way but hopefully we'll get there and come back stronger for the experience. I curse Hughes for everything he did to our Club but we need to look to the future and move on.

It was inevitable we'd lose to a team who prior to the start had only won once away this season and that Crouch, one of our allegged January targets, would score only his second goal in 27 matches. Its a shame Diakite didn't get a start after coming on last week but I don't think he'd have made much difference.

We were extremely poor. Bizarre choice to start with Park and Granero. Held our own for 30 mins and the first goal was a wicked deflection but after half time only one team came out. I was in the top balcony down the away end of the ground and had a great view of the travelling Rs fans. Credit to you all, you deserve better.

I'm totally numb after watching that - how can they keep doing it to us?!!

The ref had little choice with Zamora's 'high boot' and it was a good showing with 10 outfield players, esp in the second class. A world class strike by Remy betrayed by the most moronic of fouls conceded by M'bia at the end.

And a fair point Oz about Jenas - I thought he was pretty quiet against Fulham too. Another great showing by Townsend - it would be great if we could get him on a permanent signing but I think we'd need to stay up.

So the agony goes on but i'll be at the Everton game next week. I'm going over for the weekend with my wife so it will be nice to see the match and share in the pleasure and pain first hand!

As an aside I was quite disappointed with Wigan - I thought they'd have gone for the jugular after Zamora's dismissal but they were pretty poor in the second half. Results elsewhere didn't do them any favours either.

I'd hoped that after a two week break and given the situation we are we'd have come out all guns blazing against an admittedly in form Fulham. Yet we hardly saw the ball in the first 30 minutes. The first half can be summed up in one word - Samba!

We were much better in the second half and on the balance of play and I harboured hopes of a draw but three goals proved too much.

I thought Jenas did very little hast night and would have taken him off for Hoilett rather than Tarbs. Townsend was my man of the match but i'd have liked to have seen him switched across to the left side when Traore went off (or sooner) - I think he could have caused Riise problems and crossed much better with his left foot. He was going some great work down the right wing but his deliveries were not great last night.

I think that was a performance we've been waiting all season to see, especially you guys who go week in week out. I watched it on 'Football first' last night and it was a vast improvement all round - we actually looked like a 'team', reasonably comfortable in defence and actually quite menacing going forward.

I'm a fan of Adel but sometimes you have to think of the team and not an individual trying to do everything. I'm sure he'll be picked for upcoming matches against teams where Harry feels his presence will be needed.

Any result away at Villa next week and its game on!

The Man U game aside, i'm looking at the upcoming matches and thinking they are 'winnable' but the fact is we've won just two games all season and (Villa aside) all these other teams seem to play better football, by which I mean passing, creating chances, being competitive and just playing as a team.

I saw the highlights on MOTD last night - a poor performance from the back four. In fact there were 7 R's shirts in the box for Swansea's third goal and they still managed to scope. Samba was made to look a bit of a mug for the fourth but in fairnesss he's probably still getting back to match fitness and Mitchu is razor sharp.

We have a losing culture which is feeding on itself and will only change with back to back wins but I just can't see where the goals will come from.

I appreciate that a run in the cup was clearly not a priority this season but even so, a second choice team should have given the MK Dons a better game than that. Tony Fernandes must have been sitting in the stand thinking 'what is this monster I have created'?!.

Anton's Ferdinand's defending for the second goal was the type of amateurish misjudgement you seen out in the parks every Sunday morning. Surely our worst centre back since Ernie Howe??

Harry was remarkably upbeat about our prospects after the game and credit to him for staying so positive after that display - but unless he can get a couple of inspired loan signings in the transfer window, its all looking very bleak for the R's. Chelsea and Spurs up next - doesn't get any easier!

Good point above Meleka about one in one out - I just can't abide the prospect of having any more overpaid losers bloating the squad.

Poor Clint Hill's slowness was totally exposed by Shane Long for the first goal, while Anton rather gifted them the second - why did he just not blast the ball out of play for a corner? You know, basics?? If Ferdinand's head isn't in the right place he should be dropped.

Its an increasing concern that Hughes appear somewhat lacking as a tactician - he must surely study the upcoming opposition and look at their strengths and weaknesses but can't put a side together to defend and exploit these.

I marvel at the talent we have but despair that they cannot play as a team. No away wins, just eight wins in what, 29 games in charge? I'll keep the faith for now but its becoming strained.

I meant to say also, i've absolutely nothing against Park as a player and he does bring something to our midfield but I do not think he makes a good Captain - I just don't see him galvansing those around him. He doesn't seem to say much at all. We need a Simon Barker 'die for the cause' type player as Captain.

Look at Mark Noble last night and compare the two.
