Grandchildren were watching this and I don't mind admitting to shedding a tear for Dottie and her friends. Their bravery and ability to remain so positive in the face of such adversity is inspirational.
Just finished watching the game I'd recorded, and, without knowing who the ref was, said to my Mrs that he really looks like a guy called Gavin Ward I'm working with on a nationwide project team.
Sorry to hear your sad news Sevenhoop, my condolences to you and your nearest and dearest.
I'm an R for the same reason and although it's nearly 10 years since I lost my dad, I still miss going to games and moaning to each other about our latest performance.
I've been to all Wales' euro 24 qualifiers and the atmosphere, expecially during the anthem and renditions of Yma o Hyd gives me goosebumps every time and the occasional tear.
I was having a few drinks in the hotel bar with some Finnish fans who were talking about our Anthem and they were saying they'd never heard anything like it, always loud, proud and a cappella.
In my many years of following my country, I've rarely encountered other fans appearing to have such a sense of pride in their team and nationality.
Don't follow F1 but have done a ton of track days on a bike and assume blue flags are used for the same reason i.e. they're showed to a rider to warn them to get off the racing line when faster riders are approaching them.
These flags (if they do mean the same) are crucial to ensure the safety of both riders and and to stop slower riders ruining their lap times or worse, their race.
