In addition to what's already been said, the whole reason Gray was signed was to give us a different option not reiterate the ones we already had. So I think it's only natural if it hasn't entirely clicked overnight.
Playing devil's advocate however - if we were that committed to exploiting our new pacemen we might have seen Odubajo instructed differently by this point. |

It is a bit strange now. Hoos did mention a trusty old bit of kit failing them recently but er, you'd think a new one would justify the ROI... especially what with all those Recast readies coming in. |

They've dispensed with coaches who have made far better impressions than Xisco has, despite grinding out promotion. If they only foresaw decline now's a good time (the traditional time for them in fact) to get in front of it.
Bit different when the rolodex had more interesting names than Ranieri in though... especially if they made the move because they wanted the side better organised. |

Yep. We have to appreciate Johansen is part pillar part foundation. What we build around and eventually on top of him will be down to him as much as anything he does individually (and I repeat he's still not half bad now, just not the two/three players in one we're demanding him to be every week). |

Watching that you certainly can't say he's taking the defending lightly.
Worth underlining the distinction he makes about coaching time versus the "maintenance programme" of the fixture graft. |

We have always put far too much on Johansen's shoulders to knit the side together. He's still doing more than alright, and if he hasn't hit the same consistent heights as before it's not like it's a big mystery why with pre season and knocks etc. |

I wouldn't be laying concern about Moses squarely at his door to be honest. "Good in attack iffy in defence" is what it has always said on the tin. It's up to us to cover what goes on behind him and fix him going forward. Too many games of him cutting inside now to suggest he's disobeying orders so what is he being told? Today's oppo were there to be got at too. |

Having Amos coming on and running his socks off has been massive this week. Delighted for him, excited for us.
I know he's a bit of a bombscare taking care of the football but we might have used Duke-McKenna for some of that on certain occasions in retrospect. |
