It's a rumour. Potentially true. Of course us being interested is a very different rumour from him about to sign. If that's not even a rumour then there's not much to think about yet. Also never heard of the player so I have attached no emotion to this. |

I have enjoyed many of these videos, a lot of them an hour or more in length, and I have loved every minute. My favourite moment of all, comes from this one, about 11 minutes in, where the lack of a player as physical as Anderson is lamented. Now that I am sated after watching probably just a fraction of the delicious treasure trove made available by these entitled overgrown babies, I am going to go and watch the full 90 minutes again. š [Post edited 1 May 15:08]

We do have another game still to play. Not only is it better for the players (and the fans) to be concentrating on that, but Marti and tue board probably want to get it done before having the necessary conversations between themselves, never mind with the players in question. |

Since there will always be three year one parachute teams coming down unless the rules ever get changed, I would rather it be as many different clubs as possible, so that more money comes into the league and the biggest advantage isn't confined to a small number of clubs. Might as well be Ipswich and Forest along with the three that come down this year, sooner or later West Brom and Norwich and eventually Fulham, Brentford and Chelsea. Of course what I would really like to happen would be a wage cap where no club is allowed a wage bill that's beyond the means of the lowest earner in the division, transfer fees that are capped unless being paid to a club that spent the previous season at least one division below the buyer, and (just in case that doesn't render parachute payments completely redundant), a reworking of the parachute system where parachute payments are optional and cost 1 point per ten million pounds up to a maximum of Ā£60 million, and only happen once, immediately following relegation. Players would still earn plenty of money, but instead of it coming from inflated wages, it's funded directly by broadcasters and sponsors and paid as bonuses and prize money for prescribed achievements and awards decided by the leagues, fans, broadcasters and sponsors themselves. |

31 league games, 12 wins, 9 draws. That's 45 points 1.45 points per game (corresponds to 66.8 points over a 46 game season, so not quite top six but definitely top half) Win percentage 38.7% |

When we beat Hull I thought we might have a chance if we made the most of our run of home games in January. We didn't, so I was prepping myself for relegation then, until we beat Millwall and thought maybe we still have a chance. After the Norwich game I really believed we could do it. Losing at Stoke had me worried again but by that point I felt we were capable of staying up, especially with the form of Birmingham. When we beat Leicester it became a question of exactly how many points we would need and whether any or them would have to come from Coventry. I was confident we would do it one way or another. |

Bolton's the team we've played least recently and I think they've done their time and are worthy of another go in the Championship by now. |

All it takes is for a newspaper twunt to write some nonsense about points deductions and plenty of people will believe it's about to happen. |

I don't think I can answer your question until you explain how what I wrote prompted it. |

Just like managers, getting rid of players doesn't improve anything. Bringing in a new one can. If we have already identified a first choice keeper who isn't called Asmir Begovic, then we will probably let Asmir go. (He may or may not want to stay anyway, but it would mean a paycut if so). If we haven't got anyone else coming in then or course we will offer Begovic another year. I'm sure no-one actually imagines that we will release Begovic and then magically we will have a keeper who does better than him, but a lot of posts are written in a way that implies their authors believe exactly that. Regardless, I am sure the budgies will not want to go into their semi final still shaking off the embarrassment of losing to one of the worst two teams in the division. |
