For me the penalty decision and few referee decisions that went against him clearly frustrated him and threw him off. |

I'm gonna be the arragant and slightly uneducated 😂 one. Yes any team can beat anyone, but alot of fear from people with this match. They aren't world beaters. Yes they have a good record with defense but it's no fear for me
We're 2nd in the league for a reason and have alot of creativity. Yes we have struggled with teams who sit back but for me this match is the perfect time to show we can learn from past teams doing this to us. 2-0 win

Slightly off subject I also don't think Swansea gets enough credit for growing players and taking them to the next level. How many players have come to us and succeeded to have their first shot at international football
Michu with Spain, McBurnie with Scotland, etc. Not sure you could say the same for many other Welsh clubs. That goes for Welsh talent as well |

Always like Yalcouye creativity and movements. I would of liked to see him more last season, but per Matos concentrating on our own players, which is understandable, I thought he was a bit lightweight. Glad he is doing well. Would of learnt alot when with us. [Post edited 13 Sep 17:28]

For all the Ronald critisism and I am one who also like to highlight his faults. All credit to him for showing really passions and showing he has something to prove. Last season he might of got to comfortable with being only real selection. But this is the version of Ronald we first saw when he joined us. |

It's almost these Managers like playing with fire 🔥😂. Win today he is a genius, lose and the knives are out again. I'm not even sure Matos knows to play it safe or not. He over played safe At Southampton with his selection though. No manager is gonna be liked by all fans and in no way am I calling for his head.. But with the Walter and now Monga exclusions and few odd decisions, I have been finding myself questioning him more recently. But hey that's football..... [Post edited 12 Sep 14:16]

I like Cabango and he offers something to us. A decent championship player. But he slows the play down. Him and Burgess practically walked through glue. Lissah and Welsh added something we wanted for years. Does Cabango addition to the squad guarantees now we will start losing? No. But other than seeing the players day in day out which we do not see and far more valuable than anyone of us, I still have to argue why he thinks of breaking up a winbing formula. I don't like to single players out, but again why not go with what worked with Lissah and Key and have Cabango benched. Everyone clearly can see what Matos cannot see. I am still convinced Burgess would be in the startint lineup if he wasn't injured. [Post edited 12 Sep 13:54]

I'll eat my words, but Vip is not the answer at present time. I'm a Matos fan, but he really needs to make a statement, drop Cabango and Vip. Why is he potentially going to change a winning formula? Managers are a strange bunch, their either geniuses or unable to see what fans can see or choose not too. |

Not sure the logic with Vip starting. Idah adds much more to the whole team and energy we need. Cabango needs to be benched. For me and as dramatic as always 😂 this is a must win to make a statement and will show how quickly can we react after a loss. You aren't gonna win them all and we will have a lot of bad days, but we need to keep momentum with our place in the league. |

Perfectly said. I know a few have had a pop at me for singling Cabango out and yes, Lissah and Welsh wasn't free from ciritism. But Cabango as you said slows the play down. Matos went into this to not lose hence Lissah for Key. He got it all wrong. My worry is Matos won't learn from this and Cabango will play on Saturday. Is Cabango a solid defender, 100%. But he like Burgess does not suit this faster pace Matos team. [Post edited 9 Sep 8:34]

Perfectly said, It won't be the last time we lose this season. But for me we did everything wrong in this match. Matos has to take a lot of the blame for his selection and tactics. I get the feeling Matos won't learn though and Cabango will play on the weekend. We needed Lissah and Welsh with Key. I can't put the whole blame on Cabango, VIP was sluggish, Idah should of started. But Matos needs to make a statement on the weekend now with dropping the captain. If he does then irrelevant of the result he will be sending a message
But again, how many Managers will do this. I'll be suprised if Cabango is benched. |
