My family are all parkrun obsessives (as well as QPR) and a Saturday for us was always started at Bushy (our local course) followed by a trip to Loftus Road. Think I'm on 300 odd now (having slowed down a lot due to kids) but totally agree with you how addictive it is. I even did one on my wedding day!
One of the great things about it is that almost everywhere has one now, so whenever you're visiting friends/family or staying somewhere away from home, there's always one to do. I am probably on 20+ locations but never done one abroad, so thats the next one for my bucket list. |

Peter Crouch 826 making his debt before Paul Furlong 827 is something that seems wrong in my memory - I guess because of the age of both players at the time, and because Paul was with us much longer. I was but a youth then though. |

My first time at Hillsborough - any tips on where to park?
Will be my second game since moving out of London to the bitter North, and hoping for a better result than my last venture out (boro away last season).
I will go for a draw 1-1 as the idea of 4 wins on the bounce my mind just wont compute.

I've been going since 1998, been in:
Loft lower (with Dad, odd few games before we had ST)
Ellerslie (when we got STs in around 2002)
SA - for the friendly against Ajax - the only thing I can remember about the game was their fans started kicking off with each other in school end, and my dad got a pie.
School lower - didn't have an ST as was at uni, but sat there for Austin's hattrick against WBA.
Actually sat in school Upper during covid 2000 attendance cap game, and tried to order at seat service, which failed spectacularly as the the staff had no clue where any of the seats were.
Only place I've never sat is upper loft! Will have to someday.... |
