Think it was you that came to that conclusion Steve, I Didn't know that Chelscum was ever known for " Three Little Birds " yes they were & are known for " The Liquidator " .
I also didn't know that Ajax were known for " Three Little Birds " not a bad thing to be associated with them.

It's local to us with all the West Indian Culture we have in W11 W10 Etc, and of Course it has Don't Worry Bout a thing

Sorry Don't watch Dutch Football, having said that it wouldn't be a bad thing to have the same song as Ajax !!

I have never heard " 3 Little Birds " at any game except a couple of weeks ago at the scum and thought that should be our song,
Everyone knows it and sings along with it, imaging the whole of Loftus Road singing !! |

completely agree with Konk !! this is a subject that really gets to me.
I have been saying for at least 30 years that the music before the game kills the atmosphere.
you can't hear the next person talking to you. I used to enjoy the build up to a game, get to the ground about 1.45, opposition supporters would sing and banter with us and by the time kick off came the atmosphere was great.
Oh I just remembered who's idea is it to play atmosphere over the sound system during the game ?? F...... embarrassing !!
Not that it happens often but Hi Ho is good at the end of the game when we win.
Most other clubs have a song the whole ground sings ie: Everton Z cars, Man City Blue Moon, Birmingham Keep right on till the end of the road, Stoke Delilah,West Ham Bubbleseven Chelscum have The Liquidator ( love the music can't stand it now when it's played anywhere ) etc etc.
We should have a song that reflects our Heritage and everyone knows, so having said that we should have something from Notting Hill / Shepherds Bush heritage.

Maybe its because I am an original member of the Loft and ( sadly still sing some of the songs from back then ) on my own, but you would of thought some of the older supporters would join, a couple I nearly always sing is

I 1st went there mid 60's, it was winter & midweek !!! on a coach which had about 25 of us. me in all my skinhead gear, they were all greasers lol stuck out like a sore thumb.
Alan Spratley was in goal and he got attacked in the 2nd half by a Blackburn fan, we won 1 - 0!!! was fun getting back on the coach after the game lol [Post edited 3 Feb 2017 18:13]

Most Clubs have a song they sing ie: Stoke "Delilah " Birmingham " Keep right on till the end of the Road " etc etc
I think we should have " Strolling " an old favorite years ago !! used to get nearly everyone singing and used to finish with Rangers clap clap clap Rangers Clap clap clap !!
If not " Strolling " what would you suggest ??
