Still here guys. Just getting over the shame of that performance! No doubt in my mind Saints were the better of the play-off teams and would have won through. The only issue was the rule breaking. All done now and we (Boro) got what we deserved as well. Saints go again with a 4 point deduction and I am sure they will be in the final mix next season. A top 2 finish for Saints and Boro would be lovely! P.S. I'm a shortbread dunker. |

Wow. As it becomes clear, the depth of dishonesty and bullying at Saints is staggering. At the end of the day they have been caught cheating in one of the biggest Sporting Competitions in the world. Starting next season in the Championship with just a 4 points deduction now looks like they have got off lightly . . . never mind harshly. |

Boro fan comes in peace. I would suggest any Saints fans still feeling the punishment was too harsh or didn't fit the crime . . . please watch Podcast Business of Sport 'Spygate Special' on youtube. Stick with it and you will get some absolutely clear, unbiased facts and perspectives. It even gave some clarity as to why Boro were so angry about the incident. I know many Boro fans genuinely feel for the Saints supporters. |

You are missing the point bud. They chose cheating as an option on numerous occasions because they felt it gave them an advantage. They have admitted spying on Oxford, if they didn't get anything from that then why did they spy on Ipswich, if that gave them nothing then why spy on Boro? How many other clubs did they do it to? How many points did they gain? Should they have even been in the play-offs? The previous 6 games with Boro we have more wins and almost double your goal tally. You are only saying it's disproportionate because of the supposed £200m but if it was some tuppney cup and a team was caught cheating you would expect them to be kicked out. Sorry for Saints fans but 'man up' and take your knocks. Good luck with the appeal which incidentally gives the new panel powers to increase the punishment. |

Sadly, these days I often picture that statue of the English Tommy standing, holding his rifle, head bowed. Only now his head is bowed with the shame of Englishmen voting for Neo-Nazis like Reform. My grandad was in the BEF and was on the beaches at Dunkirk. I can tell you what he would have told any Reform morons that came knocking. |

I think that will come out in the wash mate. However, I fully expect the punishment to be changed tomorrow on appeal. As a Boro fan I think the promotion spot should be given to Hull (deserved) , Boro stay in the Championship (failed) and Saints stay down with a points deduction (cheating). Sadly for Saints though Steve Gibson will take them to Court and absolutely rinse them. This is a sorry state of affairs for all of us as supporters. |

Yaddah yaddah . . . . . Saints have been found guilty of habitual cheating. Totally get it if the appeal changes the punishment but at least it has brought the truth into the light. Maybe Saints wouldn't have been in a play off spot without cheating. They were sliding into a relegation fight until Eckert appeared. To quote Bree . . .' it's amazing how much information he is able to give us on opposing teams'. Conclusions? |
