Completely outplayed first half but defended well and almost sneaked a win in the second half A good result on a hostile day.

This tie should have been over by half time with us at least 4 goals down But it wasn't
You would have to say it's advantage Saints now but no way is it a certainty
The last time I sawSaints play a half like that was the first half against Leicester We now have a second chance if the EFL allow it

Thought midfield and attack were completely overwhelmed by a very aggressive boro. Larin and Scienza and Azaz had bad games.

However Wood, Bree and Peretz were absolutely brilliant.

Boro were on top for most of the game, but hopefully not getting anything out of it will now play on their minds.

Hopefully a great game to look forward to at St Mary's.

You do wonder whether SpyGate affected the players mindset before the game started? Certainly seemed to give Boro a shot in the arm. Thank God Tonda worked his magic at half time!!
