England v Wales Pissed off 15:38 - Jun 14 with 3836 viewsrongould

It looks very much like I shall miss this game
Have to go to the hospital in the morning to have an angiogram and am unlikely to be home before kick off
Hope there is good news
An England win and the docs say that I am OK

Most important thing is that you're okay, Ron. You can always catch the highlights of the Wales win later

"Thank you for supporting Queens Park Rangers Steep Staircase"... and I thought I'd signed up for a rollercoaster.

Fingers crossed for you Ron and hope all goes well, surely you could Sky Plus it and do a 'Likely Lads'?

Consider yourself one of the lucky ones who doesn't have to sit through it and the ultimate disappointment

Probably safer for your potential condition that you're not watching another Welsh team help dump us out of another major sporting competition.

Best wishes.

Been there, had that.

Slightly nerve wracking, but pain free.

Best wishes Ron.

Christ Ron, I'd heard of games getting rained off or snowed off, but the images I was getting from your thread title were bizarre!!

Good luck with your appointment, ...tell the docs to stick the telly on mate!

Tee hee hee.

Don't make Ron laugh. Bad for his blood pressure.

I am still Steve but no longer in Dagenham.

Thanks mates for all your kind words

It was quite a harrowing day

Up at stupid o clock to get to the hospital at 7-30

Taken for the procedure at 10-30

It is not too painful but it is very discomforting and the drugs they use do you no favours and my right arm is covered in bruises. However it is quite a miraculous operation, used 70,000 times in this country per year, saving that many from being cut open. Check it out

Thank God (Nye Bevan) for the NHS

Realised that England had won on the way home, lots of young men in Brighton that had drink taken were wandering around waving shirts in the air and shouting "Ingerlund"
Saw 5 minutes highlights on the news and realised that I had missed nothing.
Norn Iron were good though

Good luck lads
