That's what I thought, a similar fit to what Flitcroft was when we has appointed. Probably wouldn't have applied considering they were in a job anyway but may possibly be hunted down by Stewie. Albeit, Rowett was actually in the process of building a good team at Brum by all accounts, whereby Flitcroft struggled to take Barnsley on following that miraculous relegationn dodge.
42 year old, proven at League Two with Burton, showed to be capable in the Championship (supposedly where we want to be), could be looking to tie down to a long stint as a manager somewhere. Fear that he'll be snapped up elsewhere like you say, a Coventry or Rotherham maybe. [Post edited 14 Dec 2016 19:52]

I think it's the initial thought processes of many bury fans which add to the general merriment of us lot on here.
The number of times they fall for the rhetoric is side splitting.
We've heard them frothing at the gash in anticipation of the Revolution, the world wide scouting network, international friendlies, fans forums, a sustainable business model club - none of which happened.
Then it was the aparthotels and a music concert - none of which happened.
Recently it's been the milky bar kid suggesting 6th position is attainable. This won't happen.
Plus talk of Championship football - this won't happen.
And most recently a new 20,000 all seater ground for which huge sums of money have already been borrowed, even though no-one knows where the ground is likely to be built.
Again, this won't happen.
In fact, whatever the milky bar kid says is going to happen, the exact opposite is always nearer the truth.
The man is a total con-artist and probably cannot believe his luck at how easy it has been to string along 3000 people.
What his ultimate end game is remains to be seen, but it's not going to be a sustainable club in the Championship.
But, as Glenn Thomas kindly reminded onlookers - bury would have gone bust but for Day 3 years ago, so at least they've been enjoying the ride 3 years more than they deserved. |  |
