Andrew?????? are you for real, he shouid of had at least two from crosses in second half , never won or even attempted to win anything in first half pen box. Seriously this hero worship of sh"t3 players amazes me!
As a centre forward you anticipate and make the space and time your runs into the box, this clown hasnt got a clue and if you are basing a good play off run or even promotion on him next season then god help us...no chance!
Maghey did very well last night looked strong and fast I was impressed but nowt to beat we should of damaged their goal difference a bit more.
We desperately need a proven centre forward.

One of the most consistent players in the squad, plays where he's told and does his best and always puts a great shift in....sad you feel the need to still slag players off after winning away and keeping a clean sheet,baffling.....

Did you see Big Jim's celebration at the end in front of the Dale fans, he was over the moon!

Fantastic reaction from big jim at the end!!!

Bury started well for 15 minutes then Dale took control especially second half.

Leigh much improved for them bury best player on the night.

Speaking to a bury fan before the game they really are something else!!

1. He would rather have Clark than Hill as Manager!

2. No Dale player would get in the bury starting 11.

Sums em up really!

Both are true - Calvin does put a shift in, he's very useful defending in the air (make a good CB?), he's a great team player & apparently great in the dressing room but he's no finisher (as his record shows). Like several last night first touch let him down, several misplaced passes and some poor decision making on 2nd half counter-attacks. Agree also about McGahey who's looked quality (even out of position at full back). Also a word for Jamie Allen - one of the few consistent performers last night. It was a great (unexpected) win and fans were superb but it was a poor game, technically.

McGahey had a great game last night. The telling moment for me was when he out muscled Vaughan early in the first half won the ball and laid it off, Vaughan gave him a tap of acknowledgement.

The game was not great and Logan barely had a save to make. We nullified their expensive strikers and maybe should have scored more in the second half. Bunney put in two excellent deliveries that were begging to be finished. Keane in front of the back four allows Camps and Allen to play much further forward, which helps them influence the game more.

I think it's fair to say that any point you might've reasonably made (which tony_roch ended up doing on your behalf) about Calvin's qualities as a finisher was immediately negated by using words like"clown" - especially when you of all people would know what a clown is

We also have Steven Davies who, with a good pre-season, will be the proven centre forward and finisher you've completely forgotten about in your haste and when both he and Calvin have worked in tandem they've been too much for L1 defences to handle
