It's here, it's matchday. The day when the match takes place. It's QPR, it's Burton they're meeting today in a fixture already being described as Queens Park Rangers vs Burton Albion. It'll be a challenging one and think we might well have to score three to win, although we should hopefully be capable of doing that.

I have moved back Bri, yeah. Not there today though - just woke up in a little mermaid bed in northern California - visiting the in-laws...
Have to meet up for a beer at some point.

I'm back in Ireland, Bklyn. I've just PM'd you.

Scowen is a really nice player. Wise and hard-working. Burton have lots of energy and pace. Playing with 3 at the back, well ten often but breaking at pace. Scowen coping with them well. Rangers look dangerous every time they attack but lack a bit of touch and composure.

This game is like the Grenfell game. It's like they're all strangers. No pattern or control here at all. Missing Luongo's intelligence and poise.

Mackie shoots high and wide from a half-chance after good work from Scowen and Wszolek.

I would be, but I've got no stream again. I've tried three different browsers, I think there's a login problem. I'll tackle support on Monday, there's no chance of getting it rectified today.

Are we getting into it a bit more in the last 5 minutes?

Could be. Couple of half-chances again for us, but no quality.

Our two aggressive but small forwards getting no change from their three centre-backs. Midfield showing a bit more now but still no controlling influence ahead of the excellent Scowen.

We definitely have more quality but it's not showing.

Possibly time to welease The Smith or The Sylla for a bit of up-front lanky punch?

Reduced to looking at BBC's text updates. What a world.

Even the text updates read like they are bored:

'43 mins. QPR do something. Burton do a different thing. Something else happens. Missed it. Maybe a corner or something'.
'44 mins. Reckon that bird over there is gorgeous but her bloke is punching way above his weight. What does she see in him? QPR kick the ball'.
'45 mins. Can't face another Chicken Balti pie. Might nip off for a slash early. Burton win free kick. Or penalty. Soemthing like that'.

'What do we want? We don't know! When do we want it? Now!'

HT.

Will have to change something. This game is glacially slow. Sylla doesn't make the ball stick and Smith's introduction means we'll probably go long-ball. The problem is midfield today, I think. We need to get control there somehow. We're missing Luongo. Even Doughty would've done a job here to slow it down and keep possession and force Burton back. Once you've done that you then bring the forwards into the play, fail to do that and who plays up front really doesn't matter.

More likely a back to front donkey punch.

I've seen under 11 age group games on a Saturday morning with more passion and belief in themselfs
