Where's Holly?

Whahey, another 30 pages coming up!

Interesting to read about the consortium he's leading buying the club. I mean, it would be interesting to read about if it were there. Which it isn't.

I have got a funny feeling that Captain Clint is going to join the backroom staff.
This will make me exceedingly happy.

im almost certain he'll go to Fleetwood with the lip service he was paying Barton on the pod

I was sad (but not unhappy) that Holloway was moved on, but I feel McClaren's skill set fits our set up quite neatly? I think it could be a decent move, and I don't see it as much of going for a big name, as we have a head coach role rather than manager and have recruited accordingly.

I know this means he'll be out by October, but I'm quietly optimistic

I am hoping that Lee Carsley turns up soon too. It will help with carrying out SMC's staement claim.

McClaren comes across as a nice bloke and he seems to care about coaching and building a team on modest means. He said the right things in that interview. Not arrogant. Not a bullsh*tter. Said that he thought Ollie had done a good job stabilising. One thing worth remembering is that you cannot hold being sacked by Derby against anyone. Also it's time to re-inject some of that Dutch total football into the QPR DNA.

‘morbid curiosity about where this is all going’

I'm happy with this appointment. I genuinely think he is a good coach and person and we should all get behind him.

Just watched his interview. Sounds good to me . I'm optimistic about the season and i'm officially in the Mcclaren in group. Until we start losing. Then i might have a rethink. But for now... Mcclaren in.

Agreed, it's McLaren in for me too. He's been coming in and now he actually is in so he may as well stay in. McLAREN FCUKING IN. At least until it's time for him to be out - at that point he can fcuk right off and stay fcuking fcuked off the Dutch kunt.

Twitter post of the day was someone stating Mcclaren looks like the lovechild of Les Dennis and Donald Trump.

I didn't hear that. He said how excited he was to be working with youngsters who give it their all for 95 minutes. he did say that their needed to be a mix and that he was looking forward to meeting the players and assessing what we need.

RIP: Sniffer, Doug and Pat
