The old forum layout was far more user friendly than this fansnetwork one. I’ve got used to the crap factor now but I remember initially most thinking wtf.
The site has always had its characters but the last year or so it has been full of trolls, with nothing to add to the debate, or humour on the site. I think the word ‘troll’ is overused these days but it’s certainly true of a good handful of posters on here.
Also relegation was always going to have an effect. The lack of streams mean that there are less people coming on here to discuss the game as it plays out.
I think the expansion of Facebook/IG/Twitter has had an impact.
I remember the good old days having a browse at the Stadium photos as the Liberty was being built.

I find it difficult To post most days due to th adverts completely dominating this site.
Pages continually reloading as " there is a problem with the page" Yes I have an old iPad but it's only PS that I have these problems with. Just remembered....News sites too! I never bother to click the links..

It’s the network. I look at some of the other sites on the network from time to time; some have really good news sections (QPR and Ipswich spring to mind). They’re just as bad with adverts.
And yes, there’s no reason to come here other than for an argument. Regular news would draw people, but I realise that would be a massive commitment for someone (I think some other sites have full time reporters).

Too many WUM’s. Too much personal abuse. This reached new levels in 2018. Too much arguing over ridiculous points. Regular occurrences of 20 page threads of nothing. Depressing performances on the football front.
These are the reasons why some of the PS legends hardly post here any more.
The first point is getting worse. On the positive side the latter three points are on a slight upward trend. The place can recover and a regular injection of humour will go a long way.
Your a part of the so called legends on here, get posting, right the perceived wrongs.

We are playing decent football (most of the time) We are in a decent position in the league. Potter is making a decent attempt at rebuilding. People have got wise to the nonsense. about the majority shareholders taking money out of the club. A lot of plastic stayed in the Premier League watching the big clubs.

Oh i dunno mind. Nothing wrong with a good debate whoever it's with. I'm sure Tim hasn't driven anyone away from the site, he's always been constructive. You on the other hand have driven many away with your poison attacks on people. Max for one as he told me at the Ipswich game. Ffs, even Chris has put you on ignore, and that takes some doing!
