Online shop orders 12:00 - Jun 10 with 5976 viewsStanisgod

I ordered sixty quids worth of stuff from the shop the day they reopened, I think the 25th May. E mail to say it was despatched 28 th and currently up to 14 days royal mail.
Nothing yet so sent them a message on the online shop any questions link yesterday and this morning, no answer.
Any any suggestions as to who else I could contact and is anyone else waiting for stuff?

It's being so happy that keeps me going.

Managed to get an answer on the fourth email, still no stuff, he said he didn't know what had happened to it and was sending it to the finance depot for a refund.
So how I chase them I have no idea as 33 pound QPR cash is part of my refund which I believe runs out soon, so do I just lose it when it's not my fault?
He can't repeat the order as most stuff I ordered is now out of stock, utter shambles.

I doubt you just lose it they'll just refund it.

Just realised that the delivery address details on my confirmation email are wrong. Somehow I’ve entered my home address with my work postcode. Parcel could be anywhere. My tracking number isn’t working. I’ve emailed the shop and I might try local delivery office see if they’re holding it there

The Royal Mail have been overwhelmed, for which I have complete sympathy....However as an online seller sending out up to 800 items a day, they have lost so many items during this crisis.
Been refunding our customers in the £100's during this pandemic. They are not always processing everything in the sequence in which it arrives into the system, and some 48 hour stuff has taken over a month to land with the customer. The Easter period and subsequent bank holiday periods were particularly bad times to send stuff to them, and when the system was under most strain.

All the international stuff we send was fine.

We are, but we're concentrating more on getting parcels delivered than letters atm, due to parcel volumes being busier then Xmas.

Surprised it's taken that long tbh

'But the extra workload, coupled with staff absences that peaked at one in five, took a toll on some employees, who were often handling bulkier loads.

Whereas letters are mechanically sorted and easily slot through letterboxes, Royal Mail still manually sorts most parcels, which require more handling and are less profitable. A consequence of Covid-19 was an acceleration in the chronic decline of letters, which the additional parcels failed to make up for financially.

The impact was laid bare last week, when Royal Mail revealed its main UK operation was losing about £1m a day. It announced 2,000 management job cuts as part of a cost-saving drive and cancelled this year’s dividend.

"Everybody is absolutely exhausted, physically and mentally. Normally this time [of year] we can rest with less work. Now we’ve more than Christmas amounts every day," said Peter, a postman in Scotland, a month into the lockdown.'

I think the postal service have been generally magnificent during this crisis especially those in the frontlines.
I have had packages delivered to me from many places worldwide in a fairly timely manner

the issue with the club shop is primarily down to their logistics and fulfilment systems and partners getting parcels into the mailing and delivery services. Anyway I have ordered some stuff with my QPR cash today, a bunch of carious masks, shouldnt be complicated would normally expect delivery in a few days time but mqybe we should give them 2 weeks realistically. Cant wait to go round Morrisons in my QPR mask :). there will no doubt be WTF's! from the largely Blackpool fans although there are plenty of Liverpool masks popping up these days

The thing I found interesting about that article on the Post Office is that it is a lot harder to automate handling parcels.

I’ve not received my order from 6 weeks ago. I did acknowledge a mistake I made on the postal address. I have just sent my 5th email off in a fortnight to the online shop about but have heard nothing back.

I finally had a response from the online shop today. They apologised and said that 2/3 of my items were out of stock now so they were waiting for the parcel to be returned to them by Royal Mail before proceding.

For those who haven't been paying attention I did an online order on 16th May for about £80 of merchandise. After a month of no parcel I checked the order and realised that I had made a mistake with the delivery address. I had put down my home address but with my work postcode. I normally get parcels delivered to work but because of the lockdown I decided a home delivery was a better idea and obviously got in a muddle.

So I emailed the online shop to make them aware and owned up to my mistake etc. I sent the same email 5 times over a 2 week period but had no response. This morning I sent the 6th email and had the response I detailed above.

Anyway I got home from work this evening to find a missed delivery slip from Royal Mail inside the front door. The tracking reference on the slip matches the one I had from QPR. So I'll be up at 6am and queueing outside the collection centre when they open at 7am. Fingers crossed this will all be resolved tomorrow.

I only hope the bloody things fit!

Order posted out last Thursday on a 48hr tracked delivery to replace goods they lost in May. Got a RM text saying parcel received in Nottingham MC 10 o'clock 30th June to be delivered today, but not guaranteed.
Looked this morning and same parcel showing received in Nottingham MC at 6 o'clock this morning!!!!
Needless to say it didn't turn up. F@ck knows where it is now, probably sitting somewhere in the depot next to my other one in some dark dank lost parcel corner. How can they take the money from customers for 48 hr tracked delivery service knowing full well they cannot fulfil it. Isn't that a form of fraud?
Apparently the online shop turned to Royal Mail this year as the other delivery services weren't good enough!!!
On another note all the postal workers in Nottingham are walking round in brand new QPR tees and polo's 😛

Since all this started I have had some longer waits than usual for stuff that has come via Royal Mail, but where a delivery day has been specified with a tracking number in the Royal Mail App and then it has always been delivered on the specified day.

The wife ordered me a few bits for Father’s Day on behalf of our daughter. She thought they might be a little late but received no contact or response to her emails asking for updates. Got an email Tuesday suddenly saying a package was out for delivery and they turned up yesterday.

Part of it was supposed to be a pint glass which was confirmed on the order slip enclosed but they sent a tankard glass instead.

Appreciate that it’s difficult times but they’ve not handled this particularly well, especially if they want to encourage buying from the club and not other sellers...

Emailed the online shop about an order twice this week and got a reply within the hour both times.

I am still Steve but no longer in Dagenham.
