Darren Moore has urged goalkeeper Seny Dieng to ‘keep doing what he is doing’ after gifting a goal to Bolton Wanderers in Doncaster Rovers’ win on Tuesday night.
Dieng attempted a Cruyff turn after receiving a pass back but was tackled by Bolton’s Joe Dodoo who slotted into an empty net.
Dieng has had a few close shaves already this season through the confidence he displays with the ball at his feet.

In all serious he does sound a legitimate contender to the #1 given Kelly hasn't quite nailed it down yet and Dieng is more imposing. Could be the blend of Kelly and Lumley that's ideal.
If he does drop a rick though the peanut gallery will need to show a damn sight more tolerance than it did for Lumley (who had similar rave loan reviews albeit not in sweeper keeper systems).

In general though I don't get the impression at all that Warbs will be of a mind to experiment for the sake of it until the play-offs are mathematically impossible. (Fitness issues and a brisk schedule should take care of that on its own anyway.)
Presumably Charlie Owens is fit now too? Although the prognosis was "three to four months" when he got injured in September so he should already have been in contention before the suspension.
