I went to Wembley Arena for this a couple of times in the 90s.
Don't remember much about it other than Bardsley was the star man for us and I remember lots of loudmouth Spurs fans who arrogantly thought that all they needed to do was turn up and they'd automatically win it by being such a massive club. |  | | |

Early on in the competitions history the prizemoney was 3/4/5 hundred quid total for the team that competed, they often sharing the money with the rest of the squad. Those were the days clubs trained in the public bar. [Post edited 24 Nov 2020 12:54]
