Anyone else noticed a huge increase in frequency from these scum recently? I seem to be getting these almost daily now, particularly the BT Openreach "you are getting slower speeds than you should" and the Amazon "your Prime is about to auto renew, press 1 to cancel" ones. |  | | |  |

Daily but only on the landline. Will be cancelling the landline, barely use it these days anyway. |  |

Heard my mate do this - I wish I'd thought of it first:
Caller: "Is that Mr Bennett?"
My mate: "No, this is the Police. Mr Bennett has just been found murdered, and you are the first person to call this number since we found his body. Please stay on the line. You are now a suspect in our investigation."
