But it is what it is.
4 years wasted in negotiations to end up with a deal the same as we started or worse.
Sold our fishing industry down the river.
No protection for workers rights.

We still have a country where people are brought up to feel superior by virtue of birth /family and to expect others to in some way look up to them. These people aim to keep others below them socially and economically and politically.

Good points. I still see the little Englander attitude in many people in this country, who still think we have an empire and that we are seen as a superpower and respected worldwide because of this.
That has long gone, and we are no longer special. It's similar with Americans, they still believe in the American dream and American exceptionalism.Neither is the case, we are just another country right now, and I believe this will become more apparent after Brexit reality sets in. | | | |
