for all his bad crosses, has he made up for it in assists. i am a kane fan, he does put in a good few crosses per game, or a few good crosses, take the rough with the smooth.

I've got to hand to TK; the cross for the first goal was a peach.
All about the shape he puts on the ball, not everyone can do it. Means he can put in the cross while behind the striker but helps him being able to attack the ball rather than just glance it onwards. Has to be hit hard so might also explain why his success % isn't high, not an easy skill but now the assists are adding up certainly worth persevering with?

IT was a 'Bend it Like Beckham' moment. First thing I said was what a peach of a cross .. it deserved a goal.

When he gets it right it's very good. But his crossing is inconsistent. But, as another poster said, if he was much better he wouldn't be at QPR.
One part of his game is defending and against Birmingham, particularly 1st half, he was superb.

I see plenty of poor/inconsistent crosses by prem league players who cost/paid a heck of a lot more than Todd.
Lets hope he provides at least one goal scoring assist per game.
He was awful at times in his first season but yes is improving
Agreed - there are not many players in the premiership that can consistently put in good crosses - should be one of the easier things for a professional but so many struggle to do it.
Looking back at the highlights this morning I think there was a better than even chance he might have scored from the pull back that was taken off his toes by Johnasen?.
The grass is always greener.

A lot of this comes down to whether you basically like him or not. I saw one post on Twitter after his performance against Watford where the guy, who set himself up as authoritative enough to be giving ratings and write-ups on individual player performances. gave him a 5. When he was panned for this, this guy basically claimed Kane got lucky with the cross for Adomah's winner because (in his mind) he didn't mean it, while he slaughtered him in the first half for getting a head to a Watford corner which went to a Watford striker. Last year, I was in Spain and went to see Atletico play Liverpool. My most stand-out memory of that game, apart from the guy next to me chain-smoking, was how poor Trent Alexander-Arnold was, particularly his crossing and his unwillingness to get to the byline. This year, as Liverpool have faltered, it is interesting to see how much stick Alexander-Arnold gets. Alexander-Arnold is probably valued at around £40m, Kane was a free transfer. When he was getting massacred by fans on a weekly basis, I wanted to stand up for Kane, because in a failing team, he never stopped trying, he never stopped showing for the ball. I'm really happy he has had some success of late, but let's face it, if he was never going to put in a bad cross, he wouldn't have been on a free transfer and he wouldn't be at QPR. If he creates one clear-cut chance every game, then that is a phenomenal return.

That was a shame. Kane got in Johansen's way, who didn't seem to see Kane coming in either.
