It's about time that Scotland realised that they are not as good as they think they are

I get the impression that Scotland invested all their emotional energy in the game against England - the strongest team in the group - at the expense of the other two games. That's no way to progress in a tournament. They should have reserved something for the games where they stood a chance of taking the points.

Came up in a quiz, so not being clever, but only 1 Scot has ever won the European Player of The Year and that was?......................................Denis Law.

Kenny Dalglish was runner up in 1983. Missed out to Michel Platini. Jimmy Johnstone the only other Scot to have been in the top 3.

Poll: Which is the worst QPR team?

Kids, grass roots, FA are teaching our children very differently these days, development is centred 100% on football skills basically, match results do not matter whatsoever. the boys play at the back one half and up front the next half and midfield if they play 4 quarters, they may even play in goal if there is not a dedicated keeper. They are trained to dribble with the ball, take players on, control the ball, skills, skills and more skills. Long kicking or long passing is not advised. Learn the game basically.

This goes on from 5/6 year olds until the are 12/13/14.
