WE GOT BEAT - GET OVER IT 08:39 - Sep 15 with 3925 viewsgazza1

Typictal LFW response to getting beat.......it is everybody's fault but not ours, the ref, the Manager, the ball boys, their players fouling, poor team selection (that has worked pretty well for us so far) and t goes on.

Ever heard of 'winning well and loosing well'!!!

We lost because we conceded a very poor goal in the 12th minute - it is going to happen because that is how we play. We didn't win because we didn't finish well enough and their keeper made some fine saves.

We played overall 'pretty well' in many aspects of the game, another day, another result. I am very disappointed, not because of anything else but I think we played well enough to get something from the game.

Yep, we're agreeing again, Chair got on the ball and tried things............

Head-down, 1-touch, 2-touch, 3-touch, Bournemouth defence set, our forwards have to check their runs to get back onside as no early delivery........think young Ilias slowed our attacks down more than Stroud last night (joke!)

But accept Chair is not dire / poor / not good (despite poor stats) as just needs to work on playing with his head-up and making 1st time passes as we are a weaker team without him (as we are without Dykes) as Chair makes the ball stick and allows up to play possession football high up the pitch, rather than in front of our penalty area!

Give it up mate, you are arguing with the equivalent of a lamp post. That is is fixed in it's position and it won't move for anything.

Not interested in comparisons basically in other matches or individuals - all different......not interested in what players cost either. I just look at the performance, this time Dykes and he was poor. A quickie re Chair he was OK(Ish).

Also Gazza1
"Agreed Kakay wasnt at his best but he was better than Dykes."

They fouled so much because we played well and that is one of the tactics they used to slow us down a bit and try and gain an advantage......surely you have read Norf's reports where he has complained that we do not get in the refs ear enough, why didn't we 'take one for the team', etc, etc, etc.......its football!!!

Posters need to look at QPR and not keep complaining about everything else....it was our fault we got beat last night. Nobody else's fault - ours!!!

“They fouled so much because we played well and that is one of the tactics they used to slow us down a bit and try and gain an advantage”

You worded the above as if you think it is a legitimate tactic. Surely if it succeeds it must lead to the conclusion the referee was poor

Of course it is not legitimate but all part of the game - a foul/free kick.....I think if you look at the stats we got a lot of free kicks given to us from the referee.

If that's the reaction on social media, then just ignore it. I haven't seen much negativity on here and I can tell you that when 2-0 down at HT and as soon as the whistle went, the fans were cheering on the team.

There was very little anger, if any, it was more support and appreciation. The away day group tend to be a little more understanding about what they're watching, whereas the Twitter and Facebook watchers tend to be fckin divs. Maybe the title should have been - DON'T BE A DIV.

I think we can be hard taskmasters sometimes, you also need a bit of luck at times in games, last night it was in short supply.

MW can give it the old hard done by lines but a few minutes of not playing well caught us out, could say we would have been lucky if not conceding when a defender makes a poor mistake in front of your goal ( not having a go at Dickie, (shite happens).

I don't think luck completely deserted us though, Willock lucky to stay on, he took a kick at an opponent a bg no no , no matter how much he was provoked, was watching a stream and I thought both should have gone, foul initally yes, a yellow, Willock didn't do the dying swan act and tried to pick the ball up straight away, the Bournemouth player then kicked it virtually out of Willocks hands to stop him taking the free quick quickly, surely another yellow then a red to follow, maybe I am completely wrong and will check when the 90 mins is put up.

We no doubt will have a few more contensious games this season, maybe the luck will favour us when they do.

That's odd, I used it earlier in the week to get one for the 'boy', my son - 32 and father of 1

Indeed - how about this on the BBC website from one our 'fans' - "Warburton should go back to baking bread"

I cannot do that, sorry. Dire/poor/not good is about the best I can muster up.

Chair, as I say was OKish....but at least got on the ball and tried things, first half shot could have been better but the same goes for Willock.

I thought Dyke was outstanding, MOTM and should be given a special bonus

That may be slightly over the top but I'm just providing some balance

Oh no not Dykes again - played as a lone striker, support not close enough, one fantastic leap and header on target from only cross into box, won half his aerials, only R's player to bully a Bournemouth player first half, some good knock-downs, very decent half. Direct comparison would be Austin's 1st half v Reading where he offered nothing, likewise Chair last night.

I think whoever starts up front has a tough task. Dykes and Austin have both struggled in the first hour of games and whoever is up front the last half an hour tends to do well.

Should say in defence of Austin he posted on instagram yesterday that his Nan had died and how hard the last few weeks had been for him
