I've mentioned this before, internet shows our 'official' capacity as c18,000.
I'm convinced its not that and has been reduced over the years because of
a) The Sky Studio
b) An increased less abled viewing area
c) Increased press facilities for the PL
I'm sure I've seen it as c17,000 but can't for the life of me find it anywhere! [Post edited 16 Jan 2022 14:43]

How's this for a theory - feel free to mock/laugh/shout as you see fit.
I think the reaction comes from the fact we beat a decent team fair and square.
We've played some poor teams, some decent teams who played poorly and or negatively and of course lost/drawn as well.
To me the satisfaction of beating someone decent, fairly, in a good game, with a last minute goal from our 'hero' (Be quiet Brian!  ) = the reaction at the end.

18250 is the actual number of seats in the ground but “available” seats makes it closer to 18000. A club will never sell all its seats due to segregation issues , ST holders failing to show and corporate tickets / community give aways that again fail to show. | |
