This is a brilliant and extremely telling cast on what a mess the club is. Charlie is really excellent, open and honest in this and it actually makes the whole situation feel even worse.

The bit where Bianca accidentally comes in and bursts into tears lets you know what the club means to the family. The Dottie bit is very moving but the main thing is how few youngsters are coming through the system.

Hugely emotional.

Never knowingly right.
Poll: How long before new signings become quivering wrecks of the players they were?

Do you have a similar post, but which might make the whole situation feel a little better?

Quiet an upfront honest interview and his missus genuinely was moved to tears.
Give Charlie his due ,he didn't pull any punches and gave an honest appraisal of his second stint at the club.
Reading between the lines there does seem to be a disconnect between the hierarchy and the manager/ players which is worrying.

Being upfront and honest...

Did he mention why he was unavailable for the Swansea game? Did the club refuse his request to be part of the match-day squad for the Swansea game so he could repay the fans loyalty?

Did anyone ask him / did he offer up why he was in such poor physical condition this year compared to just before he signed his last contract?

Does he feel responsible in any way for Warburton being forced to pick Chair as his 2nd striker due to his obvious mobility issues throughout an entire injury-free season?
