First visit there.
Very underwhelmed.
Those out of town stadiums are difficult to get right.
So surprised by lack of atmosphere from home fans.
Begging for some safe standing areas.
Carling on draft - absolute pi$$

Had a nice walk down the canal on the way there and the bus back was quick and well organised compared to Reading. There’s nothing at all in the town but the away pub wasn’t terrible and had the Palace game on. It’s crap but there are worse.

Stoke suffers from being a hodge podge of towns jumbled together into one municipality...rather like Los Angeles, without the sun.

I'd second that. Went there in our first season back in the third tier in 01/02 which was also in January. Peacock got the winner in a 1-0 win and I've never been colder at a game than that day.

Therefore but the grace of god...

That was indeed a horrible day in every respect. My only other visit was last year, and I hated every minute. Only good aspect was visiting Potteries museums and Wedgwood museum with Mrs Hants. Sagger makers bottom knockers I say.

Yeah it has a certain LA vibe about it.

Remind me what does QPR serve as a beer though?

I love our stadium but our food and beer is absolute sh*t
