There is absolutely no chance of this happening.

I hope you're right but its gathering momentum.

Never say never, but I can’t see it myself.
Jones is a Cardiff fan, on top of that he’s probably just picked up a decent pay off from Southampton ( or is still getting paid) so I can’t imagine it’s a case of he needs the money - he’s probably in a position where so he can pick and choose. If he’d been out of work a while and this was his way back in to football then that’s a different scenario. If he came to Swansea and was a roaring success, no doubt most fans would take to him in a flash - Toshack was accepted.

The owners would probably do it just to piss us off.

If this Watson comes in then he will have a massive say in the new manager, I would expect he is already discussing the new manager........i must add if he does come on board that is.

Watson and Jones are friends, good friends In fact.
I wouldn't rule it out at all plus the fact that he has gone out at the betting at Cardiff.

Daps you are deluded, why in loving f@@ would Watson come in here, we're a basket case of a club, there's no chance or Jones coming in here he hates us with a passion and there's no way I'd want him here for one second, in fact I'd rather Warnock and he wouldn't want the gig.

Kevin Muscat.

Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.

I can’t understand why there is not more support for Cameron Toshack. Knows the area and the club, knows and is liked by the players, and Swansea through and through..

Look at his results in Cyprus and then the reason why he was sacked.

Didn't he have the highest % win rate in Pafos FC history? Something like or in and around 50%.

Why did he leave out of curiosity?

He was doing well down there but despite a winning performance the owners wanted to go a different direction, it was a strange decision.

I’m getting rather excited at seeing his exit.
He will have already compiled his valedictory address.
I like the idea of a nasty man as coach .
We need one ,preferably not up his own orifice
As I’ve said, many will be gutted at his departure and they ll have to find another subject to post bile

Poll: Christmas. Enjoyable or not

I agree with all of that.

I was attempting a rather lame response to Guthrie’s post about the German band Alphaville and their hit song Big in Japan. Which was in fact named after the fabulous but not very well known Merseyside punk band of the same name which rather improbably featured Bill Drummond (later of KLF), Holly Johnson (Frankie Goes To Hollywood), Ian Broudie (Lightning Seeds) and Budgie (Siouxsie and the Banshees). So a super-group in reverse order, so to speak. Their song ‘Nothing Special’, with its refrain of ‘Egomania’, is still one of my favourite songs from that era. I guess not many of us frequented Dora’s and the North Bank during Tosh’s time - tended to be one or the other…

Honestly would not surprise me if we get another Laudrup/ Rodgers esque manager in and they take us up, one thing we do well is get managers in that everyone else ends up wanting

Laudrup and Rodgers were appointed by Huw Jenkins.

If it IS to be Muscat, at least get Rory Fallon in as his assistant.

Be a laugh watching the dugout for the Australian / New Zealand rivalry, if nothing else.
