Reading on 23:06 - Jun 30 by Blue_Castello

Like you I'm pretty sure I read in a recent article that the ground has been sold to the owner in a similar fashion to the way Derby manipulated their finances.

I think I heard it right on reports yesterday that the current owner has pumped in £200 million in 6 years.

So am guessing a large majority of that is for the stadium and training facilities.

So if the club get done and administration occurs, does that mean the owner walks away with a stadium to do with what he wishes.

I actually randomly went to the first ever game at Madejski Stadium as it was then. Wearing my Rangers top. Didn't think it would be noticed, but it certainly was. They beat Luton 3 - 0 ironically.

Around 2008, Reading came 8th in the Premier league.

Was watching from Reading end when we came from 3 - 1 down to draw 3 - 3 with Johansen scoring in last minute and again in Reading end to see Tyler Roberts score two good goals to come back late from 2- 0 down to draw 2 - 2.

Crap stadium for atmosphere but much as I enjoy putting one over on them, I take no pleasure from another club screwed over by the madness that is the football world !!

Walking in a "Mackie Wonderland"
Poll: Where will we finish next season ???
